clo: This amazing book visually reveals the patterns inherent in the periodic table, and does so with simple, clear, beautiful infographics. Gives meaning and context essential to any understanding of chemistry and related subjects, which is priceless.
However, the font in the paperback version is tiny and very thin, so you might, like me, find you need a magnifying glass to read the text. I ended up exchanging it for the larger hardcover and the font is much bigger and easier to read. Very happy with it.

Mrs Jennifer Pickett: This book was seen at the shop in Jodrell Bank by my son in law, and was subsequently bought for him at Christmas. He found it fascinating and wished it had been available when he was studying science in school because it contains so much interesting information. All age groups found items to which they could relate.

Matt: Product was great, condition was not. Listed as new, however there were spots on the pages, marks on the cover, and part of the cover was torn.

pangea: I bought this for my 7th grader, who loves chemistry. He is not a huge reader, but loves this book for its concise easy-to-understand text and pictures. In addition to pages dedicated to each element, there are interesting sections on interesting topics like radiation and basic chemical principles and properties. He told me it was one of his favorite Christmas gifts, which is huge, since he doesn't enjoy books in general.

Bill: I've been interested in science all my life and am always looking for well-written books that give me an understanding of specific topics. Been looking for something on the periodic table and this hits the nail on the head. Clear descriptions of complex topics, diagrams and graphics to illustration concepts and relationships. All in a fairly compact and digestible format. Highly recommended.
