Patrick J. Hogan: I read this book with my daughter as part of our on going series of reading multiple WHO WAS/IS etc books. This was very informative. I knew a lot about the Batman writing history but there were a number of new revelations that I was not aware of. Once again this publisher does a GREAT Job of educating the reader, both young and old. I enjoyed it so much I sent a copy to a good friend and Fellow Batman Fan friend of mine. We love the Batman character and look forward to future books, and movies about the Caped Crusader.

LFC: Our child who enjoys superheroes and Batman really enjoyed this book. This series does a great job of giving the backstory and facts to give young readers more knowledge and appreciation of the subject. This book was no different.

The author does a nice job of helping the reader to understand the collaborative nature of Comics, concepts like origin stories, as well as showcasing the differences of the major villains Batman went up against and what made them stand apart as characters.
