JohnL: nice boat, it has several inflation areas, so if one gets breached the others will not deflate. Solid material and easy to handle. seemed stable enough when i was using it in my pond. One heads up though, the pump they supply with the boat will not inflate this boat unless you plan to sit there and pump for hours on end. it is small, weak and has to be hand held, no flood grab you can step on like a bike pump. I used a large compressor and it took about 8 minutes to completly fill... but by hand, i could not even estimate.

Chad: We bought to go down river. Two adults and one child and had plenty of room. Water was a little rough and raft held together as excepted. Definitely glad I purchased.

J&S: Das Boot war sehr schnell aufgebaut und aufgepumpt. Dank der beiliegenden Anleitung haben wir auch ein gutes Gefühl gehabt, alles richtig installiert zu haben. Wir haben uns sicher damit gefühlt, als wir mit der ganzen Familie eine Flussfahrt gemacht haben.
Beiliegende Paddel sind schnell zusammengesteckt. Obwohl wir Steine und Bäume gestreift haben, ist das Boot stabil und robust geblieben. Es liegt gut im Wasser und schaukelt nicht zu viel. Die Luft blieb einen ganzen Tag drin.

Die Halterungen waren aber etwas unkomfortabel, sodass die Paddel nicht immer da waren, wo wir sie brauchten.
Die beiliegenden Kissen fliegen leider oft im Boot herum, wenn Plätze getauscht werden, oder man tiefer sitzen möchte. Das müssen wir noch üben.

Am Ende war das Boot auch schnell wieder zerlegt und aufgeräumt.
Ohne Luft und getrocknet passt es wieder in die Originalverpackung, um es aufzubewahren. Nur der Deckel geht grade nicht mehr zu.

E Buczkowski: Son wanted a boat to go fishing on and got this one. He only used it once but did like the affordability of this boat. The boat forces a person to sit deep into the raft which is uncomfortable to fish in that position. This definitely would need a modification like a seat board to rest across the width so the people can sit up and be free to move. Would add on to this review later when it is used more.

Phil AdsheadPhil Adshead: Used mostly for sea trips in the Pentland Firth, North Scotland, this Seahawk 2 dinghy has been a good size for an average guy and a border collie. It's okay for two average adults on a short trip but a bit cramped to be relaxing because your feet are probably pressed against each other's thighs.
The plastic oars with yellow blades are okay for bimbling about but it's worth forking out another £20 for a slightly stronger set with the aluminium shafts and black blades if you want to get anywhere with confidence. You will still have a bargain (and a spare set).
The boat quality is great for the price range, I've had it over 6 years and feel safe in the sea, using tidal currents and wind in our favour to make fast progress.
It's not for surf bigger than knee high but handles fine in unbroken swell. Stay away from sharp rocks.
Because it's rudderless, the stronger the wind the harder it is to hold the dinghy in a straight line.
The double action pump is compact and efficient, 5 or 6 mins to inflate.
The dinghy fits easily in my 65l rucksack along with, oars, pump, 2 buoyancy aids, water and rations.
3 piece oars are great for packing away.

Marino: L'unica prova che ho fatto è stata gonfiarlo completamente (con un mini compressore a batteria - se volete sapere quale scrivetemi in pvt perché è OTTIMO). Ho verificato che non vi fossero difetti come quelli segnalati in diverse recensioni e l'ho tenuto gonfio in casa per circa 48 ore. Tutto ok. Ovviamente la prova vera e propria va fatta in acqua, più volte, quindi aggiornerò queste righe.
Di sicuro posso affermare che è davvero enorme e ingombrante e pesante e bisogna essere bene attrezzati per il suo trasporto e gonfiaggio. Lasciate perdere la pompetta manuale in dotazione e prendete un buon gonfiatore a batteria in modo da poterlo gonfiare rapidamente vicino alla riva.
La sensazione generale è di una certa robustezza dei materiali ma si potrà verificare davvero solo dopo l'uso in acqua.

Ahhh media: It floats well. I'm 200lbs and it was still above the water. Rowing the boat to move wasn't impossible. I could barely move around a lake and stayed by the shore. You're not going to want to take this thing around a lake by rowing.

The strengths of this plastic is alright. It's not dollar store thin plastic but I'm sure a stick could easily pierce its hull. Now this one has 3 air pockets. Other cheaper rafts have 2. This one has a ring inside the big hull pocket then the pocket you sit on.
It comes with an air hand pump that works well but you're fine using a electric pump. I did the electric pump then used the hand. There's a lil measure tape decal you use to tell if it's inflated to the desired level which is a lot of pressure.
For 46 it's not bad. Maybe I'll tube a river with it someday.
If you were going down a river avoid shallow rocky spots. This raft would easily puncture.
People with lil engines I could see this working around lakes.

Kevin: We bought this boat because we had intended to rent inflatables 2 days in a row, and the cost of buying this was the same as renting a boat for 1 day. Of course, now we pretty much never have to rent a boat. The package arrived very quickly, in time for me to set the boat up and check it for problems, and learn a little about using it 3 days before our trip. Problem was, the box was ripped. Luck held though, nothing was missing, and the boat was not damaged.
I'd read reviews from other buyers and that was what helped me decide on this boat. I'm glad I did, the reviews were mostly good, and I am very happy with this product. I will add some of my experiences with our new boat, hopefuly it will be helpful to you.
It is very easy to inflate and set up. Using the enclosed hand pump, I was able to inflate the boat in about 15 minutes, and there was little difficulty. Be careful with the foot holders on it though, they seem very flimsy. I made sure to use both feet, instead of 1 foot, seemed less likely to break that way.
The included grab rope is not that impressive, but I didn't expect a mountaneering rope, lol.
the accessory pouch ties onto the boat and it'll hold things...

I bought this inflatable dinghy as a birthday present to myself and because it is the only kind of boat I can afford. I love to fish and have often found fishing from banks, or shore to be somewhat restrictive especially at sea, so I bought this boat to give me a bit more versatility when fishing.

The boat arrived fairly quickly. I ordered it on Tuesday the 5th of June and it arrived on the late afternoon of Friday the 8th of June around about 2.30pm the day before my birthday. I was really pleased to see it, but, sadly, filled with anticlimactic expectations after noticing the outside cardboard carton containing the package was damaged. I reported the damage to the courier, filled the form and signed it.

I deliver food to people's homes for a local restaurant on Friday and Saturday evenings from 3pm until 1am, so I had to go to work at 3pm on Friday afternoon. On Saturday, I had to work in the daytime from early in the morning and then deliver food in the afternoon until 1am. This left me no time to take the boat out of its packaging to inspect it.
