Amazon Customer: It took quite a while to come but I didn't need it until Christmas. I Purchased it for an 8 year old nephew. I have a hardcover I purchased 8 years ago. Couldn't find a hard cover, this was all I could find. Very interesting book, we all learned a lot from it. My 6 year old grandson enjoyed i, at this age I read it to him. Probably an 8 your old could read it on their own, depending on reading skills.

Raychel: I read this to my 3 year old and it was very informative and very well written. My son loved seeing all the different animals throughout the book. I enjoyed the book as much as soon did. Definitely worth the money and the stars.
