SEEDS: I find anything outside of the Bible itself is always lacking accuracy this included mind you the beginner Bible cartoon series along with these books from that series are some of the closest inaccuracy I have seen from any show let alone a child show

Chelsea E. Walker: I purchased this book to introduce my grand twins to the bible. The first night we read 170 pages! They did not want to stop! We are now through about 5 nights and we are on page 476. The stories are colorfully illustrated, stories are told in an simple way. It was good for me , too. Reminded me of the simple takeaways from the parables and stories of the greatest book ever written.
Someone had written a review stating that the color of the characters skin were not ethnic enough. I did not find that to be true. I felt that most of the illustrated characters had a Mideastern look , in general. Some were more anglican but that helps us euro-centric individuals to relate. Besides, the story telling is so good and fund for kids, that comment is just a distraction to me.

This is well spent dollars, if you chose to purchase. I bought a sticker /activity book to go along with it. It was fun to revisit the stories through activities, it was amazing to see how much the twins (almost 7) remembered a bout each story. Fun to hear them choose their favorite bible heroes, too!

Miss B.: Had read some previous reviews and was a little worried this book might be too young since I wanted it for children going to school for the first time (aged 4-5years). But I need not have worried. It's totally age appropriate for those just about to start school with a good range of puzzles and activities for them to try. And stickers are always a hit - these ones are brightly coloured, a good size and quality and not those fiddly tiny ones that tear when you peel them. The pages are good quality and brightly coloured so the book looks attractive to small people. There is a short one paragraph summary of the story in child friendly language on each page. The stories include Noah, Joseph, Moses (basket and plagues), Jericho/Joshua, Samson, David, Daniel and Jonah.
