AlexAlex: Not enough amazing or beautiful things are said of the wonderful guru rumi. But oh, how I love and admire his work. One of my favorites by him is the guest house. It is, of course in this book! (Page 16!)
I bought this book not only because I find his work intriguing and thought provoking, but because I really enjoy reading them outloud to my students at the end of the yoga classes I teach. It's always so wonderful to finish reading some of his work and watch the faces illuminate with understanding. This book is small and can fit in most purses.
If you enjoy poetry, or are looking to add to a class, I highly recommend this book. I do not write many book reviews, but just had to let Amazon reviewers/shoppers know that this is worth every penny.

Roux: If you're a Rumi fan and looking for a gift book to introduce someone to his writings, this is a good choice. It contains a good variety of his beautiful and meaningful offerings without feeling heavy or overwhelming. Great as a thank-you gift or stocking stuffer or for the bedside table in a guest room.
