Thaddaeus: I love the book itself. It is an incredibly easy read, totaling 39 pages in all, but it is a good one. The perspective we get into the conversations and letters of Brother Lawrence are nothing but the simple, whole truth, of Christ-oriented, true to the gospel living. These collected words have encouraged me to read critically, and keep my perspective on what really matters: GOD and His love in everything. I've lent the book to friends of mine, and they would all agree on the same things.
This specific book is an Amazon print, but the paperback is the cheapest copy you'll get out there. So deliberate if this is the copy you want as you will.

Terry F: These words and letters are over three hundred years old, yet I found I floated between imagining the environment of those times, and how so much of the simplicity of his thoughts and practices I envy today. A very quick read that I recommend.

Shawn: Brother Lawrence gives us hope that mere humans can walk in humble peace with THE FATHER. I can only tell my story, but in my experience my faith began in my thoughts. Many times over the course of my life my thoughts have challenged my faith as I’m sure is the norm with all humanity. We are all influencers; Simple, yet profound beings who’s lives can and do influence the lives and thoughts and faith of those around us. Like Brother Lawrence did with his own life, I hope to influence and nudge others. I want to encourage people to look into their own private practices and thought life and I pray for a faith for each person I influence to to grow in relationship with JESUS CHRIST as their Savior. That relationship alone will determine where you spend eternity, and your do you realize that your relationship with Him could affect where other people spend their eternity? Now that’s a powerful thought! Prioritize and cultivate your relationship with Him today, nothing else you do in your life will have as profound an effect on you and on this entire world than your relationship with Jesus Christ.
