Jess: While I do feel like these have gone up in price a pretty ridiculous amount, we are still using them because they do such a great job with our hard water and have fewer chemicals than most brands. They've nearly doubled in price since my first purchase in bulk a year and a half ago which is a huge bummer and does have me keeping my eyes out for a less expensive alternative.

Amazon Customer: Our area has very hard water. We have a water softener, but it broke, and we had to wait a couple of weeks to get it fixed. These dishwasher tablets did a great job of cleaning the dishes without leaving spots or streaks (I always use rinse aid also). Great solution for hard water.

Misty M. McCoy: I live in Texas with lime stone everywhere which leaves a heavy hardwater build up on EVERYTHING! We didn’t want a water softener because the problem was mostly just the dishwasher. We were about ready to get rid of the dishwasher because I could not win with white distilled vinegar, cascade, finish or lemishine! This product really is AMAZING! Leaves the dishwasher sparkling clean too! Please never go out of business! The only dishwasher pods I will ever use again! Sincerely a cleaning lady!

CJ67: So we don’t have extremely hard water but after 30 years of somewhat hard water our dishes (previously my grandparents’) had a film on them that wouldn’t seem to wash off. I had cleaned them with a vinegar soak and scrub and that helped but then I changed to this detergent. The glasses that have gone through regularly have really cleared up and are nice and shiny. I still need to rotate through a couple of the sets of glasses. I don’t know if I need to change the settings on my dishwasher, make sure they are cleaner going in, or switch detergents but often I’ll still have dishes come out with baked on food. I was having this with cascade complete (whatever the best one was) and also dealing with hard water residue so I switched to give this a try. Oh I’ll also say that the one time I used this without removing the package I opened the dishwasher to find the tablet (and wrapper) mostly intact. And I have a year old, higher level GE dishwasher. (I also had this a few times with the cascade pods which is another reason I switched) but after that I started opening the wrapper and just tossing it into the bottom and I haven’t had the problem of it not dissolving since.
