janeyd: I have loved reading these books. I’ve chuckled aloud at some of the antics. The characters are fantastic and you can really ‘see them’ in your minds eye. I recommend you start at book 1 to really understand the characters and their relationships - after book 1 you will be hooked & eager to read the next - I know I am 😁

Jennywren37: Very disappointed with the ending. Expected more i.e. like the visit from Victor's mother and his job starting as manager of the village shop. Also would have expected more from Guzim's wife and Barry completing the underground storage refurb. Feel quite short-changed as all other volumes - except 6 - had 300 or more pages. Let's hope volume 9 gives better value for money.....

Lynn Gulliver: This is another absolute gem. Victor continues to engage us as he and Marigold become more woven into the warp and weft of Meli life, whilst embroidering more engaging characters from their lives in Manchester.

I arrived at the end of the book quite unexpectedly and it has left me wanting more. I should have seen the sign, mention of the steak and kidney pie! Whilst I too love Greek food, the book has left me hankering for a steak and kidney pie with flaky puff pastry. I must ask my husband to make one, his are almost as good as FB. Shhh don't tell him.

Thank you Mr Victor Bucket, can't wait for the next installment.

Kindle Customer: This is a wonderful series of books, I really look forward to every installment, just wish that we weren't left hanging at the end of each one. Shame they are so short, and therefore far more expensive in the long run in comparison to a full novel. Most full novels are the same price as one instalmentof these, which is about a quarter of the length.
