Its very subjective, but I would describe this mattress as (medium/soft) and maybe a little too soft as I sink into it quite a bit more than my old mattress. But its still very comfortable and I slept undisturbed for my first night on it.

I bought this because I am staying with a relative and and needed a mattress that was free of dust mites. I've never had a memory foam mattress before and I am so happy with the purchase. I sleep comfortably with no allergen symptoms, but moreover, I have no achey back or hip pain either. It gives superior support and comfort and regulates body temperature. Regular spring mattresses no longer match up, I'll never go back. You do have to wait the recommended 72 hours for it to fully inflate. Do not judge it on the first night. Trust that it will get firmer and you will love it. Great price as well.

Absolutely LOVE this matress. When it arrived it was well packaged. Upon opening I had doubts it would expand fully. Took it to an open room and cut open vacuum sealed bag. Bed started expanding rapidly. A few hours later and it looked completely expanded but I followed the directions and waited. 72 hours later it was ready. I pressed on the top of the bed and I was worried, it felt stiff almost hard. I then laid on it and my worries went away as it formed around me beautifully. It is firm but very comfortable. The initial smell of plastic was almost completely gone. The first night I we slept on it I did not wake once during the night and awoke feeling really good. I have a bad back and since sleeping on this mattress I have noticed that I awaken with less back pain and stiffness. I am sleeping a lot better also. The gel top on this mattress is amazing as it keeps a nice cool layer even if you stay in the same spot for a long time. When summer comes I see this being a HUGE plus.
Pros: Firm but giving, cooling, even firmness over the entire surface...

I did a ton of research before I bought this mattress. Obviously I purchased this one, and let me tell you- IM SO GLAD I DID!
In the beginning, it was very firm and I honestly was concerned. However, it softened up a bit after about 10 nights sleeping on it. This mattress cradles my body perfectly and my back and hips have never felt better. The only downside was the 72hr inflation period. I did wait the full 72hrs before laying on it, and it was well worth the wait.
If you’re hesitant, don’t be… I’d give this mattress a million+ stars!
