Experience Comfort and Support with the Ashley Chime 8" Medium Firm Memory Foam Mattress

Caren: I have had this mattress for almost 1 year now and absolutely love getting to go to bed every night in it. I previously had a memory foam mattress that wasn’t holding my weight and I kept sinking into it with no support. But this mattress is absolutely perfect for me! It has support, comfort, and cooling. To reference I’m 200lbs. I also added a 2inch foam topper that made this bed feel like a cloud but with the support I needed for good quality sleep. I can’t wait to use this mattress for the next decade. I highly recommend it. 10/10 for me. And the price is amazing truly for the quality.

CMR84: We bought this to replace a serta GARBAGE pillow top mattress that was about 5-6 years old and had completely collapsed on all the edges and in the spots where we laid. Within 2 years of purchase. And we are not heavy people. The last 2-3 years we had been sleeping on the mattress turned upside down (so on the hard side) with a purchased mattress topper to make due until we replaced it. Both of us needing a firmer mattress, I did sooooo much research trying to find the best affordable mattress before settling on this one. Now I did wait until Prime days to buy so I could get an even better deal, obviously. I can’t say how this will hold up long term, but we are 3 months in and my husband has stopped complaining of back pains and we both get a full nights sleep. Even with a toddler in between us most nights. It’s definitely on the firmer side of medium/firm but I feel that’s easier to work with because you can always add a mattress topper if needed. This was also our first mattress in a box purchase and I have to admit I was bamboozled at how it was packaged and how quickly it inflated to shape. Within 3 hours it was full size. Lyne Tremblay: Matelas peut-être un peu plus ferme que prévu. Difficile d'évaluer le mot plush en français. Ferme ou semi-ferme??? Facile à déballer. Se décompresse rapidement. Un peu dur pour les hanches si vous dormez sur le côté mais très bien pour sommeil sur le dos ou sur le ventre. Un surmatelas devrait régler un léger problème de douleur à la hanche parce que je lis couchée sur le côté.

JHYC: This mattress is on the firmer side. No complain. Perfect sleep and support thru the night. It's great for people has back pain. This is our 3rd foam mattress. We had a Magniflex for over 10 years. It was expensive but money worth spent. We would like to upgrade to a King size mattress but a Magniflex was out of our budget. We also have an Endy in twin. It's nice foam mattresses on a budget but it's too soft/plush for our backs. When we came across this one, many reviewers mentioned this is firm or too firm. This was the one!! Great quality and price. Inflated in 24 hours.

Tyler: I am going to be completely honest, up until Prime day, I didn't even know that you could buy a mattress from Amazon! We have had a bed frame and box spring set up in our spare bedroom for almost a year now and finally went out looking for a new mattress online in hopes of finding a decent price, and a decent price is just what we found!

We picked up the 10" Queen mattress for less than half of what we could find in stores. The mattress arrived pretty quickly and came in a box that was approximately 4' x 1.5' x 1.5' and weighted about 57lbs I think. Set up was crazy easy, took a few minutes to remove the box and vacuum sealed packaging. Once we placed it on the bed we left it for an hour or so and came back to find it had inflated to its full size (it does warn that it may take 48-hours to get to full size).

The mattress was exactly the size ordered and fit our box spring perfectly. Unfortunately we did not look at the firmness level prior to purchasing and we found the mattress a little firmer than we wanted. Though this is easily fixed with a soft foam piece placed on top of the mattress.

Only time will tell how this mattress holds up but I am very pleased thus far. I bought two 12" full size for my kids (this listing) and a king size 12" Elite for myself & spouse (separate listing) all on a Cyber Monday sale. These are our first memory foam mattresses and I completed an exhaustive amount of research for the better part of a year before settling on these.

Upon delivery, these were well packaged. The mattresses each came in a clear bag which was shrinkwrapped around them. They were then rolled and covered in a durable milky-colored plastic and finally boxed in a clearly marked manufacturer's box.

We brought the kid's beds in to sit at room temp for a day before unpacking. Each came with clear (albeit unneccessary) instructuons on how to set up.
