The mesh walls mean less bonks and it is just so adorable! The space in between each panel is definitely a tad large and the gate locking mechanism is just a pain. Oh and The wall mounting hardware does not factor in your baseboards which my husband who installed this was less than happy about. But really overall this product is far more cute than anything else I could find on Amazon and functions perfectly for my needs as a work from home Momma so I’m still giving it 5 stars!

CodyCody: It’s a good size and fits in our space well. It does slide easily on hardwood so I’d recommend a mat or non-slip rubber feet of sine kind to keep it in place and to keep its shape.

Lorraine Adderley: Great for a very short period of time when my baby still let me keep him in a play yard. It was super useful when he was first on the move but after about two months it became a designated toy area with an open gate. Really sturdy and attractive. Excellent for keeping your kid out of something, like the Christmas tree or away from a sick dog. Not as easy to keep a child contained inside. Lol

Kirsten Livingston: Oh my god, this was the best money I’ve ever spent!! I’ve had this for 2 years now so I’m writing this review with 2 years of experience.
So I was looking for a play pen that wasn’t hard plastic because my rambunctious child kept banging her head on the colorful plastic play pen panels I initially purchased. Between the plastic and all the holes for her to stick her hands through, I was over that one QUICK! I came across this, but it was WAY more expensive than the North States plastic play pen. After hours of shopping online and reading every review on every different play pen I eventually pulled the trigger and I couldn’t be happier that I did. There were so many different ways I was able to configure this to make it work as the baby got older and even as we moved into a different house. I don’t know how anyone could say this is dangerous. I have the most rambunctious child who has been into EVERYTHING for the past 2 years. If there was a way to escape or hurt herself with this play pen, she would hands down be the kid to figure it out.
After 2 years, I no longer have use for this amazing invention so I happily gifted it to a friend with a 10 month old. I...

Jul_A_Can: Love this gate. We started out with a cheap plastic gate, that we really disliked and my son figured out how to climb it in about a week. Love that this one is mesh, so he can't climb it, and the panels lock together so it's harder for the little one to move it around. Also love that you can take panels out or add more in, is very modular!

Kat S. 🇺🇦: for a baby who's learning how to stand. I will probably update my review later as my LO is only learning to crawl now. Other things I didn't like: the spaces between sections are too wide so a leg or a hand might get stuck. Also, it can only be used as a hexagon-shaped yard, not as a rectangle. I didn't realize it when I placed an order.

MB: I was one of those people who swore I wouldn’t have a house filled with baby gear. Then I had a baby and had to get real! Once our baby started to roll, we knew we had to contain him. I panic bought this during the pandemic because we’ve been working from home and it’s so hard to keep a moving baby in one place.
This is a very good size. Comfortable enough for an adult to be in the enclosure with a baby. It’s also very sturdy and I don’t worry about him pulling it over or apart. I like that I can see him through the screen very easily.
A few notes:
- it’s probably better anchored to the wall. Even though it’s sturdy, when it’s configured in the hexagon shape, it’s fairly easy for him to push the whole thing around. Granted, he’s not moving it across the room, but a few inches, especially if there’s something interesting like a shoe or a cat or some dirt on the other side of the playpen.
- the door panel works best on an angle. I don’t know why, but when I originally had this configured in a u-shape with the door aligned to the panel next to it, it was hard to get it back in place. Now that we have the hexagon, the door clicks into place...

Lily G: From reading the reviews, I still wasn't sure what kind of material the mesh panels would be nor how sturdy. The mesh panels are actually exxtremely tough and taught so baby cannot push them out and yet they are not abrasive either so i don't mind when she explores the material by caressing them or leaning her head/body against them.
The panels actually come with two sets of wall mounting brackets (four plastic brackets-u would screw in two on each side and then insert two of the panels), and although none of the reviewers have provided photos you could set the gate up as one 7 foot long wall.
There is an easy to use pull up gate which turns red when unlocked, it doesn't drag on the carpet and seems fairly durable. The fencing itself snaps into various angles so once it's set up in the orientation you like, the panels are harder to move, they don't just swing open. I have a 25 lb 8 month old and am not worried at all about her moving the panels or tipping it over. Right now I have it set up in our living room in an almost hexagon, with one open section against the seating portion of the couch so I can sit inside with her and work on my laptop at times and lean...

Salima Kassam: Honestly this is a beautiful play space, better looking than most others on the market, and very spacious. The reason I'm giving it three stars is because it's not very versatile...it's really meant to be a permanent fixture wherever you put it. If you live in a smaller house and your baby plays in a room that also serves other purposes, you may want something that is quicker to take apart and stow away, and reassemble quickly when you need it. It takes effort to take this apart even though the panels come apart...it would be perfect if it could fold up easily. If you are okay with it being a more permanent play space in whatever room you are putting it, it's great! But for all its great features, I do think the setup/take down could be more versatile so it can be used in more spaces.

ErikaErika: After looking at baby areas/gates which felt like forever, I finally decided on this one. We have plaster walls, so we did not want to drill into the wall. I liked this because I could turn it into a play pen, and even comes with a cute play hanging mat, but also like that it can be folded, broken down into individual pieces and can be separated to cover multiple openings in whatever room you’re in. Now my baby has figured out how to go around it, and pull on it to wiggle himself out, however he got over that pretty quickly and has stayed in the area I have blocked off. Skiphop always makes quality products, and this one is perfect!
