Visit the Exerpeutic Store for the Best Exercise Bikes. The Exerpeutic 400XL Folding Recumbent Bike with Performance Monitor is easy to assemble, has an impressive build quality, and offers convenience and design. Its quiet V-belt double-drive transmission system provides a silent operation, while an LCD display tracks distance, calories, time, speed, and heart rate. Plus, the large seat cushion and backrest ensure a comfortable workout session.

Amazon Customer: 1. I wasn't bothered because of the instructions were only in German but if you don't understand German then better find somebody who does because you will need those instructions.
2. the bike itself has a lot of scratches on the metal parts, some of them pretty deep, so many that i even thought it was already used before. I'm not quite sure about that, the seat seemed new.
3. the assembly part was easy enough, took me around half an hour, i did it alone, no need for assistance, no problems, it is pretty straightforward (with the help of German-only instructions ;) )
4. the connections for various cables are so lousy, so cheap that i feared they will not work. Fortunately all do work, both for the main display and for heart monitor.
5. the bike is definitely noisy, much more noisier than my older cheapest-bike-in-the-market. I don't care too much about this since i usually listen music or something else when i spin. But if the noise is a point to you then think again about buying this model. It is noisy.
6. the bike is definitely sturdy, i like that. With my older bike i always feared that one day it'll crush with me (i'm 100kg) but not with this one, i just love...

artgirl123: I'd wanted to purchase some kind of home use exercise equipment for a very long time. I do have a membership to the YMCA, but with some health issues, it isn't always possible for me to get over to the Y to work out.
I spent hours looking at regular and recumbent exercise bikes on Amazon, the recumbent having been better for me at the Y. When I found this product and saw the price, I thought, "well, it can't really be all that good, it's too inexpensive."
I read every single review that was posted for it at the time, 96 of them I think. And the majority were so very positive, that I thought that it was worth taking a shot. I'm so glad that I did!
I was also very happy, when it came and was time to assemble, that I had read the reviews since others had cautioned about the instructions, and that was so very helpful when I was faced with the task all on my own.
The bike went together fairly easily, even for someone with a terrible back issue. For the people who'd had issues with the pedals, they have included an extra sheet of paper that you can't help but see, telling you which direction to use to screw in the pedals. If you do them the wrong way, it strips the...

KHKH: As an apartment dweller I was so pleased to find this (thanks Sky Mall magazine for the idea, but bigger thanks to Amazon for having it at a great price with super saver shipping too). To be honest I was skeptical as to how sturdy this product would be and as to how much of a workout it would give. I have not been disappointed at all and in fact more pleased than I thought I'd be.
It was easy to assemble, but must say that the instruction manual gives WAY too many diagrams of parts, etc. that aren't needed to assemble it and makes it look more intimidating to assemble than it really is. It comes with a wrench and Phillips head screwdriver/Allen wrench and that's all you'll need. It took me about 45 minutes to assemble, but had the instructions been simpler it would have been more like 30 minutes. I keep the tools handy and check the assembly points from time to time and give it a little snugging up, but it's not as if the bolts are really loose. It's just me being a tradesman's daughter and raised with the idea of preventive maintenance. It compacts and moves easily with the small wheels on the back - I can move it with one hand.
And as far as getting a really good...
