David F.: Paired with a nice piece of kit from Project Airsoft, I can hold 6 Glock mags securely on my hip. This is really just a vessel for the 3d printed clips that hold Glock mags in there. I picked this one because it doesn't have Velcro over the top, and the elastic is easily removable. It works how I wanted it to.

Tyler Warren: Great quality and great retention for both the pistol and rifle mag pouches. Nothing is loose and the buttons stay buttoned.. Overall great quality and sturdy material as expected from this company.

Jeff H: Works perfectly. PMAGS slide in and out with ease. Glock mags also worked perfectly on the front. This is a true MOLLE system with heavy dome fasteners. It will not fall off when fully loaded up.

caleb conant: The EXCELLENT ELITE SPANKER Open-Top Mag Pouch for AR Mags proved to be a reliable and durable accessory during my intense 8-hour tactics course. These mag pouches exceeded my expectations by securely holding my magazines despite rolling in the dirt and enduring rigorous movements. Here's why I highly recommend them:
First and foremost, the design of the mag pouches is impressive. The open-top design allows for quick and easy access to the magazines, ensuring smooth and efficient reloads. The elastic retention straps provide a secure hold on the magazines, preventing any accidental spills or loss of ammunition, even during intense activities.
Durability is a key factor when it comes to tactical gear, and the ELITE SPANKER mag pouches deliver in this regard. The rugged construction and high-quality materials make them highly resistant to wear and tear. The pouches are built to withstand the demands of dynamic movements, heavy loads, and adverse environmental conditions, ensuring their longevity and reliability.
The versatility of the mag pouches is another standout feature. They can be easily attached to MOLLE-compatible equipment, such as tactical vests or...

The Mission Glitch: As an M4/AR-15 mag pouch, these are great. I have a 3 wide and a couple 2 wide. Smaller than I expected (in a good way), keeping it flatter to you.
I had to remove the plastic shock cord adjustment sliders, as they made the pouch not want to sit properly on the vest. The cord just needs a knot in the right spot before you mount the pouch. You couldn't access the adjusters once mounted anyway.
The one thing I am disappointed with, is the pistol mag pouches. They have the velcro for retaining straps, but no retention. Even with my P226 double stack mags, they aren't secure enough for use. If you ever fell, or went prone, it'd be a yard sale.
I will be looking for a way to add retention straps.
Bottom line: if it's rifle mags you need to carry, I think these are sturdy enough for real deployment. Just don't expect to use it for your pistol mags.

David F.: If you're like me, you're looking to standardize on grey gear but you've noticed its hard to find. I completely concur with Lucas Botkin of T.Rex Arms (check out their YouTube channel) that Wolf Grey or Ranger Green should be the standard gear color for civilians. You don't want to pretend or look like enlisted armed forces.
Nuff on that. Back to the review... Oh yeah- Gray is scarce. Pretty much the only thing I'm finding is the lesser known brands and generally lighter-duty products. I first ordered the NC Star, grey, kangaroo mag pouch offering. I liked that it had the means to retain the pistol mags as well as the rifle mags but the nylon was pretty thin. It was just floppy feeling and didn't give me that sense that it would stand up to long term use. I returned that one.
This product from Elite Spanker is a nice, deep grey and pretty sharp looking. I'd say it's a few shades darker than most other "Wolf Grey" gear I've purchased but I'm fine with that. A bit of variation is to be expected in the industry. By my estimation, this one will put up with a bit more punishment than the NC Star counter-part but maybe not very much? Time will tell and I have not yet taken...

John & Eva: The versatility to choose the single, double, or triple is great and I like the colour choices. Just got the grey double pouch a few weeks ago so I can't speak to the durability of the product, but it does what it claims; My 92fs double stacks fit perfectly in the front pistol pouch and the main pouch is perfect for my 30rd 5.56 PMAGs.
Note the description though; it will work for 30 or 40 round AR mags, but has no way to pinch or crimp for smaller magazines. I had this issue while trying to put 10 round LAR-15 mags in; they would just fall in and be hard to pull out. I was able to fix that by cutting a small block of styrofoam and wrapping it duct tape, to act as a removable spacer.
Another thing that could improve the product would be regular belt loops on the back so the pouch could be used on a standard belt without being too floppy.
However, it's a molle mag pouch suitable for standard pistol and AR mags, and in that light, it does the job just fine. I will be buying more of these.

M S: I was searching for a double pistol mag pouch to attach to my moly body armour. I stumbled upon this one and though I would give it a try. Item arrived as described. The retainers for the carbine mags work well. The pistol mags have decent tension. I have used it for two days now and found the following.
It appears most people use them for paintball where the mags they are using are a lot lighter with two fully loaded carbine mags and two pistol mags the two straps on the outside for the moly are not quite enough. With the weight the pouch bows out in the middle and leans forward. If people are going to use them for actual use it may be better to get two single pouches as they would be more stable with two straps each. I may modify the pouch in the middle to make it sit tighter to my chest.
I hope the mag pouch will hold up over time. It appears to be better constructed than half my issued kit. The Velcro on the front is a nice touch also as it gives extra spots to put moral patches or other important information like blood type.
I will follow up once I have used them for longer to give an idea on service life in actual real life daily carry.
