citysam: After 6 months of using the Gevi, my water pump went out and could no longer brew coffee. Contacted Gevi customer service via email. I was notified for a return that I would need to submit the amazon invoice, a QR code from a sticker on the bottom of the machine, a 2 minute video recording showing the machine full of water, an empty filter basket, turning on the machine, and showing that no water was dispensed to the coffee pot... what a PITA! First off, you cant email a 2 minute video and have to utilize a drop box or another cloud based service to send the video, the QR code on the bottom of the machine is about the size of a peanut and in my case had degraded from sitting on the counter, and once all the documentation had been submitted they came back with that they could not determine if the coffee maker was working correctly or not? They offered me a refurbished unit in order to honor their warranty and said that I would receive it in 2 weeks. 2 weeks passed and I reached back out only to find out that they had not sent it and that it would be another two weeks and that I would be supplied a tracking number once shipped. Maaz: I should have read into this a little more before purchasing. First off I've had it for about 2 months now and it works great. I enjoy the fresh grounded coffee smells and taste delicious. The part that really gets me is all the adjustments on here for how many cups to make are all phantom adjustments. It all depends on the amount of water you pour and amount of beans in the tray.
The machine will always ground enough for a full pot. The digital adjustment doesn't matter for the water either. If you set 4 cups and pour 8cups of water you're getting 8cups of coffee. I have learned to make those adjustments manually but for me, it was a big disappointment. For the price its a good purchase.
If you are always going to make a full pot then this is a great coffee maker.

Rebecca O'Brien: This is hand's down the best coffee maker I've ever owned. I've used all kinds of electric makers and gadgets over the years, and Gevi has simplified my coffee routine.

The only complaint I have is the coffee bean hopper should be a tad bigger. It seems it was made was 9/10oz bags of coffee beans, while the standard size is 12oz. There's always a little left over from filling.

With that out of the way. I usually drink 2-3 cups of coffee each morning. With the 10 cup reservoir, I can fill up the water twice a week. The machine is always set to my desired grind size, amount and brew strength, so I can stumble into the kitchen at 0'dark'30 and hit a single button to get the coffee going. When enough caffeine juice is in the pot, hit the button again to stop the brew.

The coffee grounds basket is large, preventing any spillage, and extremely easy to clean. The mesh is smooth and durable, rather than snaggy and easily bent like other baskets. Cleaning daily involves emptying the basket and rinsing was warm water. About once a week I wash with dish soap.

Jeremy D.: Works great! Only complaint is that the carafe broke when one of my kids knocked it off the counter. We have emailed the company twice looking to buy a replacement. Been over a week now and still no response. Customer service could use some help.
