Victoria Davies: Please do not buy, I bought this, it was not a uk plug, so I purchased a world plug to use with this product, started to hoover it quickly smelt of burning, I heard the plug socket make a noise, next minute there was a pop sound,flames then smoke, I had to run downstairs turn all my electrics off, my children had to open their bedroom windows and we all had to come down stairs, due to the smoke and smell that also set my fire alarm off.
I called amazon about this, all they have done is make a refund, its disgusting.
Please do not buy this situation could have been worse, its scared and traumatised my children.

These pictures are after I have vacuumed twice. The suction on this is really strong and the vacuum itself is very lightweight. If you are looking for something inexpensive, and effective, this is it. This comes with two other vacuuming tools that are simple. It’s a basic vacuum that has really impressed me for emergency use. The canister does not hold as much as a larger vacuum so probably needs to be emptied every other vacuum. I would definitely buy this again. michaela whitton: Plugged it in and instead of sucking was blowing everywhere then sparks started coming out of the plastic bit at the bottom. Freaked me out. Nearly started a fire. I notice another person had the same experience! Also comes with a American plug so you need an adapter in the UK. I'd avoid this like the plague.

smooth to operate: Overall, it's a nice little unit.

Very lightweight. Simple to use.

The small brush head is perfect for small areas under coffee tables and between the legs of end tables and square back kitchen chairs.

Overall vacuuming performance is good. It sucks the deap dust and dirt out of the carpet. It picks up my 2 foot long golden locks well. It does a great job on the kitchen floor as well.

The cons are these...

Hair gets caught in the little basket at the top of the dust bin. It builds up and blocks the dust bunnies from hitting the can. If I vacuum 2ce a week it won't clog on me before I finish my 1 bed apt. It's a minor inconvenience and is expected due to the length of my hair and the facts I am losing it everywhere I go the last few years. Any vacuum would eventually succumb.

Also, the edge cleaner action on the vacuum head is not the best. In Spite of the fact it has great floor suction. You'll find yourself undoing the hose and going over baseboards with the brush or the little narrow tool or simply w/o an attachment. All 3 serve a great purpose and do their jobs well. SarraFabulous: I live in a small apartment with low storage and never had a real vacuum in here with the rolling brush inside. I finally made room in my closet to store one and thought this looked like a good size. Shipping took a little longer than promised, but it made it here! The vacuum is lightweight which does make it seem cheap quality, but why would you want a very heavy vacuum anyway? It has powerful suction. I didn’t even need to read the instructions to figure out how to use it. It all clicked on and off so easily. I was able to empty the dust easily. I was SHOCKED at how much dust it picked up in my small living room room. I had just used a rubber bristled pet hair broom and dust buster one week ago and this vacuum got all the dust, dirt and pet hair out that I was never able to. I definitely recommend this vacuum because of its easiness to use, suction and the price.
The couple cons are just that it didn’t work well on my thicker bathroom mats. Maybe too powerful? Lol
The hose you undo to add an adapter on is a bit short and the lightweight vacuum easily falls over as your stretching the hose to get under things.
