kitty jo bakke: This was a little different than what I was expecting, but I think it could work for doing fun designs on jeans. I wanted a quicker and easier way to embroider on jeans. I tried without a hoop the first time and it didn't work so well. I just need to practice more and get used to it. I'm sure it will work for what I want it to be used for.

Darling Nikki: I have been doing needle crafts for a long time, but this is my first time using a punch needle. It took a few times to get the hang of it, but then it was easy peasy. I was even able to teach my little one how to do it. The kit contains what you need to get started besides the basic needlework supplies that you probably already have on hand.

DAPPER: I love the snips and all the threads that came with the adjustable punch. The punch needle itself is a little smaller than I expected, so not as easy for hold with my arthritic hands as I had hoped, but it will serve it's purpose. I like how simple it is to swap out the needles so you can get the right size needle for your project. All in all, this is exactly what I needed for my current punch needle project. Thank you!

I wish I would have tested it out the day I received it. However, I had just moved & had a lot of health & personal issues going on. So, I finally got it out last weekend..
It's a total joke!!
1st, the big pen.. When you push the needle into the fabric, the needle don't stay locked, it pushes right out of the pen holder..
2nd.. The smaller pen, os just totally broken period
3rd.. The scissors don't close flush, there for they won't cut..
4th.. It didn't come with everything listed..
I'm so frustrated & annoyed that I waisted even a penny on this item!

Kyle Tabor: After reading mixed reviews, I decided to take a chance on this magic embroidery pen. I wanted to work on a couple of embroidery/stitching projects and thought this would be a WAY faster way to do it, rather than the old fashioned way. Many of the reviews stated that was impossible to thread and there were no instructions. This was NOT my experience at all. The instructions for use and also threading were very thorough. However, the embroidery pen did not save a ton of time. It was easy enough to use, but the punch method provided for much room for error (either due to the type of fabric, type of embroidery floss, or some unknown factor) and many of the stitches fell out and had to be redone. Therefore, it really didn't save me any time. I wouldn't say it's a definite no, but I wouldn't give it an A+ rating.
