Lusus Sylvanus: Great warm ups and exercises! fingering chart was a nice refresher. Was sad to see o’canada in there staining the page but that’s ok, I defaced every part of that page except the notes themselves and the clefts they are on then skipped the page. Nice little progress tracking section in the back of the book. Not what I was expecting because I wasn’t paying attention when I bought it, not for solo trumpeters, it’s meant for a trumpeter in a classical band. But that’s ok, cause it’s perfect for the basics, refreshing my mind nicely and giving me lots of exercises for general practice and for the strengthening of the lips. I even managed some of the really hard low notes cause of this book :)

He is 9 years old and flying through this book at an incredible rate he is happy with the book and says it has helped him immensely.
