T: I was looking for a SUPER sturdy harness and that had a SUPER sense of security, which was hard to find. Then, I saw this and liked the fact there are locking clips and over the top of the velcro strips, that fasten both around the neck and under the chest area. No cat is going to be able to unclip those locks! It is made of a thick, well designed fabric and the included leash if made of nylon and well made, also. As you get what you pay for, this was almost double the price and of the average harness! I am very pleased and have used it several times, already.

AlpineSheepAlpineSheep: This harness is very solidly constructed. I bought the large and my 15lb Flemish Giant rabbit fits in it with both straps adjusted to about the middle of their range. I love how solidly it wraps on her, it was especially helpful while still training her, I was confident that if she tried to bolt away she wouldn't be in danger of injury as the wrap holds her as gently and securely as if I had my own hands on her. However, my rabbit does not like how thick the chin strap is. It poofs up into her chin space sometimes and annoys her but she usually ignores it. When she does attack it it holds up well - I haven't noticed any parts chewed off yet! Maybe someday I'll transition her to a lighter harness but for now I love this one. The only other thing she's still getting used to is the tearing off of the velcro. It's a very strong velcro and the removal process definitely makes her agitated. However, I can see her slowly adjusting to be comfortable with this as well with proper positive reinforcement.

EthanEthan: I bought two of these harnesses, one for each of our cats. One LOVES being outside, the other needs time to get used to this nonsense. This review will cover both cats in places, but will largely focus on one cat, our 7YO (spayed!!!) girl, Jasper. I've had the harnesses for a little over two weeks now, as well.

1. Fit
How a harness fits is not just dependent on your cat's neck and girth measurements. You need to take your cat's age/life stage into account, too. Jasper, at age 7, is fully grown and filled out. Legosi, our Lykoi neuter, is not quite 2. Basically, he's still growing and filling/evening out.

I got both harnesses in size small. Jasper's (blue) fits her perfectly. Legosi, meanwhile, is a bit thicker in the girth. The harness still fits him, but I'm giving serious consideration to sewing on a Velcro "extension" so the belly strap won't be as likely to come unfastened. The small fits his neck just fine, but not so much his chonky midsection. Keep this in mind if you have a cat under the age of three.

That being said, this is the first harness we have gotten that Jasper has not gotten out of. And believe me, she has tried. Even after two weeks, she...

Carla Ward: My two indoor kitties are traveling (by car) this Thanksgiving! They've never been out of the house - except for vet visits!
I bought the medium & large - both are 'true' to the size chart).... except when the Size Chart says the 'limits' - they mean just that!
One of my kitty's can 'barley' fit in the large!
I like the fact beside the velcro strap - there's an 'extra buckle strap' for the neck and torso!
So IF they get one loose - there's the 'extra buckles' to keep them in the harness.
