Kelsie C.: My daughter (1yr) got this book from the library and loved it so much we had to get her a personal copy. She was hard on the paper pages in the book from the library, so we love that this is a board book that she can’t accidentally bend when she gets overly excited.

Linda: Toddlers love it.

Antonella: This is a perfect book for little ones to learn about colours and animals. I would reccomended for children not older than 3/4 because it can be boring then

shiella barazonshiella barazon: Got my order today and the book is ruin. It smells like lysol. Maybe it was sanitized before it was packaged but I don't know how this happened.

Nana Ninja: I was sent two books which was nice but . They did not understand my explanation of the problem. The book was wonderful and exceptional, It was a library edition and the covering from the library stuck to the packaging they mailed to me. I was at fault because I was not careful opening it . I will donate the other book to the church library. Would buy from them without hesitation.

MJS: One of the lesser known of Eric Carle's books. Teaching us that we can AND should paint outside the lines.

Alex: Bought this book for my son who loves horses. It is great for learning colours as well. The first copy came damaged (bent - even though it's a board book) it was replaced the next day free of charge. I am happy with it and my buying experience.

CAITLIN: 2 1/2 months ago I had a beautiful baby girl. The holidays just passed, and I had no clue what to ask for for my little pumpkin, so I made a wish list of all my old children's book favorites from my childhood. But then I wanted to get baby Violeta a book from this year. I had found this book on Amazon. It had good reviews, and was a top seller this year. I reviewed it online and loved it. Now we read it to Violeta nearly every day. As soon as we hold the from cover up to her and read "The Artist Who Painted a Blue Horse" a huge smile spreads across her face. She gets so excited when she sees the bright colors as we read, kicking her legs and "cooing". I love the fact that the book opens up a child's imagination with images like a black polar bear. I also love that it's simple, with few words, which will later allow our child to read along with us and suggest lines like "a...RED!...alligator". "Very good, a RED ALLIGATOR!!" Overall I love this book and would suggest it to any parent.
