MONDO: Used only a handful of times. Second outing the Medium section broke while attempting to un-snag a line. I then switched to the medium/heavy top section but hadn't used it until recently. I pulled in about a 1.5 lb small mouth and the "med/heavy" section broke. Pole A+ in appearance but performance a definite D-.

Amazon Customer: Terrible quality. Cheap materials, the handle staggers separately from the rod, the rings are made of some kind of sticky metal that does not allow the line to move at maximum speed when casting.

The Greene’sThe Greene’s: Finally had the chance to get this rod out and fish it even though it was windy as all get out. I’m going to give it 4stars for now.

Mounted one of my spinning reels to this rod which is a Lews TLCB30 with 15lb braid and a mono leader the reel seat was nice and solid paired it with the medium tip. Despite the wind the rod felt great and did it’s job and casted good into the wind with a light Texas rigged softbait worm. It’ll probably become one of my more finesse rigged rods I’ll use I think it’ll do a fine job working such type lures. Looks constructed and made well as far as the tips go all seems well there for now including the eyes and inserts. I’m pretty sure if something happens these folks will take care of me as they have seemed to do with the majority of people that had issues.

I’ve got quite a few rods and reels ranging from expensive, affordable, cheap etc and as far as I can tell if they continue to have great customer service and make a decent product I’d like to have a lot more to try/use including newer or untested products. For what $35-40 you’d be hard pressed to beat em especially if you’re working class average joe and just want...

Amazon Customer: I purchased three of these rods because they came with two different tips, a medium, and medium heavy. The three rods were (I thought) quality. We recently used them on a trip to Sarasota, FL fishing in Sarasota Bay. My son hooked into his first fish (an average trout for the bay, maybe 12”) and the top section of the rod snapped in half, it was the Medium section of the two tips, not the Medium-Heavy). I was shocked as this was not a large fish. Three of us were on the boat and we bring multiple rods on each trip so Sam picked up another of the newer rods. Didn’t have an issue the rest of the week.

The rods were shipped in great condition and seemed to have no defects on inspection. Maybe this was just a weak place on the fiberglass, but regardless it was disappointing. Since we’re always in the Bay and rarely go into the gulf, a Medium action rod is all we use. I think we got a defective one, but really have no clue of how to prove that.

Regardless, Frank from SportMall was quick to offer to replace the tip for me, that's good service! The remainder of the trip we used the other two rods everyday without an issue, I think I just got a weak one.

J.Hinson SoFla: Okay where do I start. I wanted to like this rod I really did. I bought this rod to use with a small 3000 Kastking sharky III reel for a lightweight setup for bass fishing as well as some snook fishing. Well the rod came in a triangular style box with zero packing inside, just the three pieces inside the cheap little nylon bag and thrown into a box much bigger where it was being bounced all around. So as expected right off the rip I had bent guides which was already reason enough to return it but I figured why not fish that night with it first. The seat for some reason didn’t fit really good onto the reel which was strange being it’s a small reel. Now on to my first catch,, well living here on the water down in south Florida I snook fish almost daily. So that night after fishing a little I hooked my first snook. Nothing big just a slot but as u know snook put up a good lil fight. Upon reeling this fish in and up to the dock I barely lifted him out of water as I was reaching for the line to grab and I hear a loud “snap”. The snap was the med/heavy tip on the rod that broke clean in half at the third guild ring down from the tip. I have never had any rods of mine break like...
