TBo: This is a light weight and versatile work light. I use it as an overhead grinder light in a workshop. The settings include warm light and fluorescent-looking light. I'm not sure what type of bulbs are inside, but probably LEDs. I like the 3 levels of brightness, though I keep it at the highest level when I'm using it. Pretty good light at a cheap price. The swivel arm is good too.

Kristin Torkelsen: Ordered to fit in my daughter’s desk at college. Didn’t realize it’s a clamp and she has no place to clamp it. It’s also. MUCH larger than expected. She’s sending it home and I’ll use it. Nothing wrong with it and it’s nice- just not the small desk lamp I expected. My fault for not doing more research

jdmort10: This light has much to like about it.
First, the clamp. This easily attached to my wood desktop. It has a soft foam pad to prevent scratching. It clamps on and then stays there.
The Hinges - Overall the lamp is lightweight, but the hinged supports are strong. It has two adjustable hinges. While I might have wanted the lowest hinge to be adjustable also, the top two hinges accommodate most positions. It stays put even when extended. The hinges allow the lamp to be folded very compactly.
Update 9/26/2023 - I've been using the lamp for about a month now. Two things have happened that are not favorable. The flat part of the clamp has broken off of the screw. I can only use it by balancing it on the screw when clamping to the table. Secondly, the cushy part of the clamp pad that protects the top of your table came off today. It's just stuck on with a sticky adhesive and it just scrunched up and came off. Not very durable.
The support arms - This lamp also featured arms that are longer than other brands. I liked this as I can set the lamp up on a nearby desk and then extend it over to my easy chair nearby.

But this lamp is absolutely fabulous. It’s easy to clamp to the table it’s easy to install, the remote control on the cord is fabulous. And the choices for brightness and color choices of the lamp light exceed anything I’ve ever had. I’m an Amazon customer for a very long time now. This is a legitimate review of this product.

OneCoffeePlease: When fully functional, this is a great light. I actually use it clamped onto a TV tray that I use as a makeshift (and very portable) desk for painting. The arm of the light can be adjusted to pretty much any position. I appreciate that, when doing very fine work where light is crucial to see what you’re doing, you can position the light within a few inches of your work.

So, here’s the thing: I purchased this light in February of 2022. During July of 2023, the power cord failed. If it bent a certain way, the light flickered… or it turned off completely. When I purchased this product in 2022, it was expensive enough that an extended warranty was available through Asurion. I made claim, and I had a full refund within five minutes of my call.

Despite the failure, I decided to turn around and buy the same light again. This time, it was cheaper, so I ended up with a surplus. For the price, if I get a year’s worth of use, I’ll be satisfied. I like this light well enough to take that risk. Based on the foregoing, I think that this light rates 4 stars.
