Knswes: These are cheaply made but work great. We use them all the time in decorations and they hold up great and last a long time depending of course on what batteries you put in and how long you leave them on. I love that there are so many in the set and that you can use the remote. You’re not nailed into using them all in one spot but they do look good together in a display. You could probably paint these pretty easily too but I have not tried the plastic they are made of is light weight and thin.

JoAnn K.: I have a set of 6 of these that I purchased a couple of years ago and they hold up really well in our over 100 degree summer days, and 40 degree winter nights. Just set the timer and they come on and go off right on time. I bought this set as a housewarming gift for a good friend, I hope she loves them as much as I do!

Nathan Simpson: These candles are not waterproof but are water resistant. I have at least 5 boxes for candlelit showers. They look wonderful and work well inside the showers and even on the floor. Several candles have had their tops completely filled to overflowing, stay that way and have not had issues. However, after tipping an overflowing candle out, it stopped working immediately and the batteries were destroyed. I never tipped another one. I leave them all upright. Next I tried swishing some of the water out with my fingers and using my mouth to blow the water out. More of my just barely water resistant candles began to fail despite my ginger care. It turns out that you want to place these candles and then never touch or move them when wet. I just have to leave some filled with water. If I don't touch them, they work well even in a downpour. Good news. All candles that failed worked again after being thoroughly dried out and given new batteries. Bad news, the advertised silicon ring that seals the bottom was not included in a single one of my candles.

Nada: These were cheap looking shiny plastic that emits orange lights. I’ve initiated a return which costs me 50$. Amazon said they will refund 25$. That means I spend 25$ out of pocket, IF my return process is successful. So far, the return shipping hasn’t even registered on their side. There’s no communication about the process. Be warned that the candles are ORANGE in colour and not realistic at all. Ikea ones look much better, but they only take AAA batteries.
