I'm sure these are great batteries, though I'm not sure what "Remote Control" means. That's why I gave that 3 stars. My carbon monoxide detector lists Energizer 522 model number as one of the kinds of batteries that will work. These are E522. Does the "E" make if different? I don't know. I just know that they don't work for me.
