VallyGirl: I seem to go through a lot of batteries, and find that buying them from Amazon in bulk is generally a much better deal than getting them at the store. Energizer seems to be a good brand, and I'm happy with them. As for longevity, I couldn't say if they last longer than other brands, but they seem to do the trick for me. Not sure what they mean by asking me to review "remote control". Yes I use them in my remotes, of which I have many!

kat: I will only by my batteries this way. These come in a BOX and not the plastic that takes a Doctorate to figure out how to get into them. They fit nicely in a drawer and these have both AA and AAA in them. They are the best and cheapest way to buy batteries. Will continue to purchase from them.

Christy: Compact, easy to store, no plastic packages. Easy to open. One big outer cardboard box and all the batteries are in smaller cardboard boxes in groups of four. I recycle the inner boxes and use the sturdy outer boxes for gift boxes. Merry Christmas! You got batteries! Just kidding, it’s gift cards and candy.

HappyBerry: i got the 24 Max Double A and 24 Max Triple A Batteries 48 combo pack.

each version comes in small printed boxes of 4, inside a printed brick box of 24 and both bricks come in the cardboard box holding 48, nicely labelled for long term storage.

Further, the boxes were printed in 3/23 and the batteries have the date 2035 on them. That's about 12 years.
I'm fairly certain I will need more before then but it's nice to see current dates on the boxes and far out dates on the batteries themselves... this is why I prefer name brands.

I used to prefer the copper tops but they stopped shipping in smaller boxes and I don't like loose batteries floating around, hence I love this version where I can hand out tiny boxes of 4 when needed and know the rest are organized on a shelf.

Highly recommended and will continue to buy from this high volume seller... shipping was fast too.

BY-U: Bought this package, which seems to be a good deal. However, the batteries are not sealed or packed in plastics instead small paper boxes. True enough, the first box containing 4 AA batteries, 2 of them are already discharged (no power). The next box was better with all 4 working. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the rest will work, too.
