RatherBeReading: Possible SPOILERS. Both Cullen and Sky have trust issues. Everyone that should've had their backs when they were younger let them down. In Sky's case emotionally and physically. Both she and her mom were physical abuse victims by her PTSD dad. And later betrayed by her ex and her job. Cullen, verbally, and in being thrown away by his parents. But that did lead to him meeting his military brothers. This story is emotional and heart tugging. It made me want to read more about the other Trident Gods. ;D The only con was that I wish it had a future epilogue.

Tizi: Far too much sex on almost every page. Six should be private Internet and loving. Not offered up for people to read about just ruins an otherwise very good book.

lightestofheart: So my only real complaint was the switch from 1st to 3rd person inexplicably.... It completely broke my immersion to have them referring to themselves in the 3rd. I'm not sure what happened but it definitely threw off my enjoyment. 😭

supermomimnot: I liked the plot line and characters. I really wanted to read this story, but found elements frustrating that could have been solved by editing. One main character’s POV is presented in first person, the other in third person for some reasons there was wrong word usage and unnecessarily formal language that didn’t suit the character’s dialogue.
All that said it’s a great storyline so if you’re not bothered by the above, I recommend

Ann R: Loved the way this book gave such a compassionate view of PTSD within the ranks of military men. Also liked the way the story unfolded in a natural way

Brooke: Love the plot and characters. Sky is running from her past and Cullen can’t hide from his. Sky left New York disgraced and broke, and ends up in small town BF-Colorado working for a seedy tabloid and tries to get the scoop on one of Cullen’s friends. Cullen is a billionaire Jack of all trades trying to get over the military operation that left him and a few other SEALs scarred both physically and mentally, leaving one of his SEAL friends dead. Sky’s past comes back for her and Cullen and his friends step in to help. Sky and Cullen go back and forth trying to deny their attraction when they both know resistance is futile. My only hang up was the switch from first person for Sky’s POV, and third person for Cullen. It was distracting.

Lisa Pate: PTSD, something that has such a power in so many people's lives. It is invisible to others that don't have it and even harder for them to understand. So glad grew up with a military father who should have been dishonorable discharged. However it was swept under the rug to go home and continued his violent unmediated tendencies at home with his wife and daughter. Then there is what happened to her when her ex-fieance. He ruined her journalist career, by having her black ball. Instead of being in New York she is writing for a day and not making enough money to live on and living in a dump. Her boss feeds her a false story to report about a drunk driver hitting a free when she encounters Cullen Hunt .

Dillon Hunt. Is many, many things all of them good but he doesn't think so. He sees himself as a broken man because of his sever PTSD he not only came home from the service with but from the abuse he endured from his father.
This book is like an unfolding flower. The author did an outstanding job. There is one caution I need to put in here however; there are several intense sexual encounters if it is not your cup of tea you could just skip over that. But it is...

Kindle Customer: This is a good story. The pasts of both the leading characters are dark and turbulent, but they realize they each bring stability and peace to the other. If they had just a bit more time to explore Liam's club. I enjoyed this story.

Michelle: The story is really good. I enjoyed it immensely! There are a couple scenes that need another go over as the characters get switched around causing confusion and detracts from the story flow.
