Elmer's 0.77 oz Disappearing Purple School Glue Sticks - 3 Sticks per Pack (E562)

Dave H: These giant sticks of glue are literally what saves SO, so many of my prints. I don't have a perfectly controlled environment to print in so there are temperature fluctuations which lead to expansions and contractions in the plastic. This can case the print to peel away from the bed, and thus fail. This is, for hopefully obvious reasons, not good.
Not good at all.
I finally took my friend's advise and ordered some glue sticks and was delighted when adding a layer of glue made all the difference in the world! NOTE: I print on bare glass (I tried the coating on the other side but had issues), your mileage may vary on other materials.
I'm often impatient and want to take the print off the bed as soon as it's done This is far less possible with these glue sticks. Do yourself a favor and wait until the plate cools to remove the print. You'll save yourself time, effort, material and blades.

York Andrus: Some people think this material is only good for paper. It is also wonderful for preparing 3d printer base plates for PLA and others. Cleans up well. Goes down easy. Good price.

Alexis Morris: Bought these for my son for preschool (3 years old) super easy for him to hold teacher recommend Elmer because most other brands will dry out throughout the school year even if unopened. Also wayyyyy cheaper on Amazon !

Charity Carter: I LOVE these glue sticks for my kiddos! Not only do they work great and stick well, but the kids can see where they still need to put glue so they get better coverage for crafts, homework and projects. It also makes it easier for cleanup to see where it is on their hands and the table. The kids know that they can move their masterpieces once the purple has disappeared and turned "invisible".
