Robert: There are a ton of leak detectors out there but I never really thought at this price that I would be able to find the leak in my system. But it worked n I didn’t need to shot the entire system down.

Muse Amused: From my research, there’s at least five reasons for why a window AC would freeze up and my four year old out of warranty AC was doing it daily. I eliminated most of those reasons and was left with the possibility of a refrigerant leak. Instead of paying a technician to come out and diagnose it I was able to know with this detector. There was a leak in that unit and not in another AC that performed well. It seems that repair is out of the question and window units are disposable. It was an expensive, 70 lb,14,000 btu unit that I had to pay $125 to install. Sad.

brother joe: I do refrigeration for a living. I bought some digital gauges and this leak detector came in a bundle deal. I can't believe how well this thing works. I've used it twice in the first couple days, and Bam.... Found the tiniest leak on an outside unit and one on an inside unit. I already shot bubbles and didn't see it. But after this sniffer went to beeping, I checked closer and there it was. Can't go wrong for the price. Id give it 10 stars if I could.
