Seller contacted me through Amazon and quickly sent a replacement light. Replacement light works great with no issues. These UV flashlights really do put out plenty of light and certainly enough to track down an AC leak (using UV Dye, of course). Good inexpensive DIY alternative... Just an FYI - Take the batteries out of the unit when storing as AA have a tendency to leak. Good hunting!
This unit puts out a good amount UV light, particularly if you use it in dim to dark light, but right after the first use, it stopped working. I replaced the batteries. No good. Took the thing apart and cleaned all contacts. No good. Made sure all batteries (3x AA) were correctly oriented and the battery cassette was in the correct way. Nope, unit was dead. Too late to return so I threw it in the trash.
