Chubb: This electricuter is small and does the job very well. One tip that has made this light better than the other ones we've had is this year we tied a small led nightlight to the outside grid and now 100% of the mosquitoes in my garage are killed.

Ryan: Was hesitant at first but nothing else has worked for the fruit fly problem so I figured why not? Once set up within a minute I heard it go off and kill one. Within a few minutes several were dead. A full day later it had to have killed near a hundred! You can see and hear it work. It has been almost a month and I've ran it indoors most of that time and still seems to be going strong. I see vastly less fruit flies now and in the area where it is set up I see virtually none. Works best in an area where the light isn't blocked off at all and is particularly most effective at night time. Will likely be getting a second one. Only drawback thus far is that it there is no off/on switch, you have to plug it in to turn it on and unplug it to turn it off. However at this price point one can't complain too much when the product does the job THIS well.

ElsaElsa: The media could not be loaded.  When I got the packet, I at once used it. I put it in my kitchen where it was some kind of dark. After three hours later, it didn't kill any of the fruit flies. When I ate dinner around 7:30pm, I heard three cracking sounds "Bi Ba" intermittenly in the kitchen with one kitchen light on, that meant it started to work to kill flies. When I opened the tray, I only saw one dead fly inside. When I put it outside at night after ten pm, it was fast to catch many flies. But in the morning when I took the bottome tray away, I saw some flies that they didn't die. In fact, these phenomenons don't bother me as long as it can kill flies. What it really bothers are: 1. the cord is too short; 2. no switch; 3. the manual is too simple, doesn't tell us how to replace the light bulb if it is burnt out, and in fact, it is some kind of difficult to replace a burnt light blub; 4. didn't provide any warranty; 5. the small brush in fact is a disposal one, it can be only used a few times then we need to throw it away; 6. When the inner grids touch water, it will discharge electricity by making cracking sound "bi ba". That means if we put it outside under the rain, it...

MonicoMonico: I have two neighbors with very large fountains in their backyards and I live about 700ft away (according to Apple Maps) from our community lake.
So there are tons of mosquitoes here! Before we got the zapper, as soon as you walk outside any time of the morning, day or night, we are greeted by at least 6 mosquitoes within 5 seconds. Now that this zapper has been on day and night for a good while, we definitely see way less mosquitoes in our tiny backyard. This thing is doing it’s job and working overtime. I would highly recommend I’m getting a few of these. I’m going to order at least 2 or 3 more, so I can put an additional in the backyard on the other side of the house, 1 in the front porch by our door and the other one either inside the garage or outside near the garage door.

Ron B.: Product came super fast, same day delivery! No setup required so it was literally “plug and play”. I plugged it in and it worked with no problem at all. The only reason I didn’t give the full 5 star review is because of the following:
1) The cord is super short; it isn’t very long so you have to plug it into an extension cord, which isn’t a huge deal.
2) I would have liked a switch to turn it on and off. Either built into the unit or the cord itself.
3) It seems that if it falls even one time it will break, the entire unit is plastic; not a big deal, maybe a minor thing.

Overall, for the price it is a good product and one that I would recommend to others if they are in the market to purchase a bug zapper and not break the bank.
