Jacqueline Neff: It works very well to clean the dishwasher and I’ve had no problems with smells at all. I also like that I can just pop it in with my regular nightly wash, dishes and all. My only gripe is that it can leave a residue on the dishes if I don’t prop the dishwasher open after washing and let them dry.

I went with this brand because the manufacturer specifically recommended the finish tabs and I figured these were directly compared. Time will tell, but it’s an inexpensive maintenance thing for your dishwasher.
Can’t hurt, and before using these I had one clog already. Got the hated “error message”.
I assume it can also help in reducing film on your glasses.
