I have a 40g Aqueon breeder tank and I purchased the XL cleaner. I had gotten lazy and let the algae build up because it takes so long to scrub the glass. I popped this in and I had the entire tank done in under 5 minutes. I had to make multiple passes in some spots because of how thick the algae growth was, but now it's sparkling.
Pros:
- SUPER fast glass (algae) cleaning!!
- INEXPENSIVE AF compared to several other products, specifically name brand products
- Easy to store! I just leave it in, attached to the glass.
- VERY strong magnet! I've used the big name floating magnet cleaner and it wasn't half as good as this!
Cons:
- It's hard to pull apart when you take it out of the package. I couldn't get it to even slide and I thought it was glued together. I had to pry it apart with a thin blade.
- The Google-translated instructions are not great, but the product is pretty self-explanatory.
- It's made in China like everything else, a country from which I avoid buying pet products
All in all, this is one of the BEST purchases I've ever made for my fish!

I got the extra large. It's pretty good for the money. The magnet is more than strong enough, you can clean at a decent speed without it falling. But if it does happen to fall, it floats, so it won't end up in your sand. It cleans decent, basically the scrubbing part looks like the plastic side of velcro.
To separate the magnets when you get it out of the packaging just twist them in opposite directions then pull apart.
However at one point when I was cleaning, one corner of the felt on the handle end folded over and started leaving traces of the adhesive on the outside of my glass. I folded it back over and it seems OK for now. This is the reason I'm only giving it 3 stars.

This scraper is STRONG. Works great & never separates. Whatever you do don’t get the 2 parts stick together. You will never get them apart!

Got the xl as I've a 75 gal . this worked super - my tank glass is super clear(just like the water)! great buy worth the money
Note the instructions arent great, as the magnet is super strong in the XL , I inserted a knife in between the 2 parts, then slowly slid the 2 parts in opposite directions.BE careful to not let these snap back on your fingers
