But then I crush my cans with this crusher and bring them to our local humane society, where they run them to the mill to trade for cash to help the animals. It's a WIN, WIN for animals and the planet - this crusher is sturdy and effective, and LOVE that it's so well made it will help me help them raise lots of money to save more rescues. Benjamin Oldenburg: It was easy to install. I chose a spot that was all wood, no drywall. It's snug up against the wall and doesn't budge at all. I will say the rubber pad at the bottom is not very high quality and in fact was damaged after the very first crushing of a can and has continued to degrade over time. I also wish it could crush the larger tall cans but overall it's pretty decent at what it is supposed to do
