This bug zapper does a better job of attracting the little flies I'm dealing with. With in minutes of plugging it in I start to hear zaps and I'm not seeing the flies. The only thing is the zaps are loud. Hopefully the led bulb will last a long time.

This bug zapper had me puzzled for a while. At first I thought it didn't work and it seemed like a rather expensive night light. I had bought two different brands to try them out indoors for mainly gnats, moths and the occasional mosquitoes. The other one was by far much brighter, so even though they were placed in different parts of the house, the other bug zapper was attracting most, if not all of the bugs. When I decided to give the other one a rest and just leave this one running I found out that it does work, and mostly on mosquitoes and smaller bugs. It is dimmer but still does the trick. It is rather loud compared to the other bug zapper I purchased. One draw back is that it came with a USB cord but no charger. Luckily I had an old phone charger that I use to plug it in to the outlet. I have it hanging from the ceiling in a corner of the house and had to use a string to be able to reach the wall outlet since the provided cord is not really that long. Even with these drawbacks, I would still recommend it for the price.

I like the design, which has both vertical guard grids and wire grids. This design makes it much easier to clean than others. In my experiences, these zappers pretty much all perform similarly in terms of catching insects.
