Mila G: Bought this item as it was advertised as walnut grinder, but it is a super small size, and it can't grind walnuts. Just stay away from this product. It is way too expensive and very poor quality. I am stuck with it as I didn't try it within 30 days, and it is completely useless. can throw it in trash. waisted money.

Jd Mitchell: I’m not sure what the sub par reviews are about, but so far, I highly recommend this grinder. I received it (maybe) 10 minutes ago, read through the brief instructions and made some espresso.

The grind is just as fine, and possibly finer and more consistent, than that of bagged espressos, like Illy. You can only grind small amounts at a time, but I suppose that’s the idea of grinding your own beans, so that you get the freshest grind.

The sound produced by the grinder is minimal, less than a smoothie blender, maybe equivalent to a hand held vacuum, if that loud.

The interior of the cup is listed as stainless steel, I don’t know if it actually is but it doesn’t seem like it’ll be much of a problem.

The issues that I noticed mainly lie within the cup of the grinder. It’s not detachable, so you have to use the provided brush to clean it, which isn’t a big deal but seems like a blind oversight. In addition, the blade is removable, but you much remove 2 Phillips head screws that are inside of the cup.. So the heads get filled with ground coffee all the time.. The brush can clean them out, but once again, a huge oversight.

All that being...

Thomas G.: I had bought this about a month ago with something like a half-off Lightning Deal and hadn't used it until now. It's a good grinder. Easy to use. Small, so with the grinder ~2/3 full of coffee beans (recommended), the grinder will make short work of the beans in about 5-10 secs. You vary the coarseness of the grind by how long you run the motor. So I grind for a drip coffee maker in about 5 -10 secs. After 15 seconds, the coffee is like powder. Very effective grinder!. And you can watch the process and how coarse the grind is through the clear plastic top. With beans to the max fill line in the grinder, each grind will make about 3 cups of coffee..
Then, just remove the clear plastic cover and dump the ground coffee into your container or directly into your coffee maker filter. Most of the coffee will pour out so cleaning the grinder isn't a huge deal. Pretty easy with no mess. Brush is included.
The only thing I would change is that the black power cord doesn't match the white grinder body. That's goofy, but obviously made for the black grinder.

donna: Better than I expected. I am not sure what I was expecting as far as the inner cup that holds the coffee beans because you can't take it out to clean it and it's rather tricky emptying the grounded coffee unless you empty into a bigger bowl and that just makes more stuff to wash. Just seems like it could have been designed a bit more user friendly. But it works great. I mean it's liketee split and you are finished grinding the beans befor you realize it.
I am happy with it and I did purchase a good well made product (thus far) which is always my concern when buying electric products online. Just the design could have been better designed. But I do recommend this product.

Smashley: I've had this little grinder for about 2 months now and it works great. I was spending a ton of money every week buying iced coffees from DD Sun-Sat, and realized I could save money by brewing my own at home, at least during the work week. As I love Dunkin coffee, I grabbed a bunch of their whole bean coffee bags and purchased this grinder. The coffee really does taste better when freshly ground, and smoother when cold brewed in the fridge! I follow the instructions - only fill with beans 3/4 of the way - and with a few short pulses, I get the coarse-ground coffee required for my Kitchenaid 72 fl oz cold brewer, though I do have to grind several batches to get the 8 oz needed for a full pot. The grinding compartment is easy to clean with the cute little brush. Great price point and happy with my purchase.

Steven G. Lipke: After slogging through the various coffee grinders available, I settled on this one from Veken. Why? The first is the attractive price. The second, it is a very good grinder. It is easy to load with beans, grinds the coffee, and the simple instructions on how to get just the right style of ground bean is as simple as it can get. With the included cleaning brush it is a breeze to clean. The added bonus; freshly ground beans have a better flavor. So if you have been hesitating about buying "whole bean coffee beans" because you don't want to spend a lot on a grinder and confused about which one to buy, take it from me, you won't go wrong with this one. It really is a "big bang for the buck."
