Egguru 7-Egg Electric Egg Cooker Boiler Maker - Soft, Medium, or Hard Boil with Automatic Shut Off

Audioforge: I absolutely love this product. In the past, I was never good at making great boiled eggs. For some reason, they would come out differently every time. I guess there is a method for it, but, as simple as it might be I never really got the hang of it so to speak. LOL! Now, the guesswork is in the past. This little egg cooker makes PERFECT boiled eggs every time and really fast as well. In fact, my first time using it I cooked 5 eggs and it finished so fast I thought the cooker was malfunctioning. I cracked one of the eggs open and to my surprise, it was absolutely PERFECT! HA! I love it. Now there's no thinking required. Simply pour in the recommended amount of water, place the eggs in the cooker, put the lid on, and press the lighted "on" switch. The cooker will do all the thinking for you and it shuts off as soon as the eggs are ready. Finally, an appliance that does EXACTLY what it promises. PERFECT boiled eggs every time! Amazon Customer SueAmazon Customer Sue: I put the eggs in the holder, add the prescribed amount of water (measuring cup included), pop the top on and in 15minutes, perfect hard boiled eggs! Using large eggs, I can't get all 7 holes in the holder filled; 5 fit with the top on. I'm thinking maybe I could get 7 medium size eggs to fit. So easy, I made an omelet while they were cooking! I will never mess with pouring boiling water, and having eggs break again. Also, the yolks were perfect and the eggs were easy to peel. We love deviled eggs, but boiling the eggs was always a pain. The picture shows how small it next to the toaster and lemons, and how the clear plastic top gets steamy during the cooking process. I should have bought this years ago, this appliance is a must have!
UPDATE: 3months later and I still recommend this little appliance! The only thing I've noticed is that the machine stays hot even after the light goes out, so I simply unplug it. Problem solved! I use it daily for the deviled eggs my husband loves. I don't use a pin to puncture the shell (it doesn’t come with one) and I haven't had an egg explode yet. Plus, the whites aren't rubbery and the hard-cooked yokes are the perfect consistency to mash...

Mr Amazon: I am terrible at cooking, and even I found this device extremely easy to use and the eggs came out perfectly. My only concern is the cooker itself is flimsy, but I suppose everything nowadays is made that way. When it breaks, just buy another one. It's not that expensive.

carpoozie22: I started Keto recently, and like another customer said these are wonderful on saving money on hardboiled eggs. Prepackaged hardboiled eggs are convenient but at 4.69 for a bag of 12 it adds up. I looked at all the popular ones and the double-tiered ones, nevertheless I decided to order this one. I didn't want one that had a loud noise alarm as most of these seemed to have.
A friend of ours has this one and is very pleased with it. He said it can hold up to seven eggs and they cook fast and are easy to peel. It is also about the least expensive.
Ours arrived quickly and it is easy to use, clean and has a small counter footprint.
One thing I didn't see in any of the descriptions on these egg cookers is what SIZE egg they take. It is obvious now that they take MEDIUM eggs. That is the only way to cook the advertised 6-7 at a time. We usually use large eggs and didn't even think about this. My frugal husband had dreams of saving tons of money and getting more for our money by using extra-large eggs.
Well, he found out that he could only fit FOUR extra-large eggs in it at a time. lol It is OK though, they cook beautifully and taste delicious! We found that they stay...

Kfcarter: I just received my Egguru today and immediately put two eggs in it (did not puncture them), used 80ml of water and turned it on. I need to state that I like hard boiled eggs - but only hot. The minute they are cold, I cannot eat them. So, the eggs took about 10 minutes, no noise, no steam even coming out of it, the light went out, I turned it off and unplugged it. I put the eggs in cold water for about 20 seconds and then peeled them and cut them in half. The egg yolks were not quite hard, just a tad under that. Because I only eat my hard boiled eggs hot, that worked out really great as totally done egg yolks are actually a bit dry. These were not. I do have to state that the eggs were cold from the refrigerator, as I couldn't wait for them to get room temperature (which is the way I normally cook eggs) to try this little gem. So, maybe they would be a bit more done if they had been room temp. They peeled very easily. However, these were store bought eggs that I tried. Now the big test - I raise my own chickens and eggs so next time I will use my very fresh eggs and see how that works in regards to the peeling. At this point, I am very satisfied with my purchase.
