"ben_fabz": Much of what he has said has come about in some form or another, it’s really nice to be able to hear the story of what he read in different people.
If it’s true who is to know, but certainly compelling in the face of modern day evidence.

Lynne: If you’re interested in Cayce, this is very informative. I didn’t give it 5 stars for two reasons: 1) it’s seems to have been written in the ‘60s (?) so the information is old. When they’re talking about the future, it’s already history. 2) it’s not an easy read. I had to pole through it and loaned it to another avid reader who didn’t get through it.

R. A. Brewer: yes! also includes some story of the creation of the world, which is intertwined with atlantis, king Atlatl of Poseidia and his son or father-- i think he was great grandson of Amelia, the first atlantean king (after the 1st great devastation from their technology, when their land mass split into islands in like 30,000 BC, power plant tuned to high, like Tesla's wireless power plant he built in NY later, the Tu-a-oi Stone/ crystal, which is now under the Bermuda, then the 2nd devastation was like 12,500 BC? when Atlanteans knew the end was getting closer & they needed to build history record storage centers around the world) interactions with the rest of the world, their technology. i have like 3 copies of this, & always try to get others to read it.
It answers questionas like , yes, the e. cost of US was/ used to be the w. cost of Atlantis, but Poseidia, the capital island was near Gibralter IN the Atlantic (NOT Mediterranean), Cayce tells us. Also, a book called Romance of Atlantis written by a genius lady author when only age 8 or 13, Taylor Caldwell is another book to get a good feel for the interplay between politics, religion, and technology or some other books by...

Lizardhaven: the channeled information given by Cayce is so close to what we now know from scientificly based evidence that this is where i go to check facts.
there is one glitch, that seems to be in all the prophecy concerning Atlantis form this time period. when they describe what was happening just before the first cataclysm occurred, the same information is given as being what was happening just before the second cataclysm, that they had a meeting concerning what to do about the big animals that were such a danger and causing so much destruction.
i think this is due to the lack of records for those really early times. as far as i can tell the first cataclysm was when the dinosaurs were killed off, which took care of most of the problem. this left the mammoths and great sloths, etc. were these such a problem that the needed another meeting just before the second cataclysm? i doubt it, but again we do not have enough information for anything to be more than an opinion.
so i would not worry about it.

Alexis Dee: While Edgar Cayce was undoubtedly an incredible man and had some stunning visions of Atlantis, the book reads like a friend's "You had to be there" kind of story. Many who, like David Hatcher Childress, quote Cayce credit him with having visions that describe technology that wasn't present in the 1930's during the time of the readings, but is present today and at the time of Atlantis. There was very little of this to be found in the text, and all of it was at the beginning. The author, one of Cayce's sons, does little to put the life readings in any sort of context or connect the readings to now-known elements about or theories of Egypt-- granted, the book was published in the late 60's, and some of the things Cayce predicted didn't come to light until the early 2000's. But again, these are few and far between. The second half of the book is more or less a series of disjointed paragraphs from various life readings describing peoples' former lives as Egyptians or Atlanteans; readings that were certainly very interesting and meaningful for those receiving the reading, but phrases like, "Entity was a teacher and keeper of records in Atlantean days," or, "Entity assisted priest with...

Wotan: This book is a must for anybody, who is interested in human history and existence. It clearly explains our origins, which are completely different from the claptrap served to us by mainstream historians and archeologists. It also conclusively refutes the theory of evolution, i.e. human beings have always been human beings and not apes. The book also makes it clear that we are essentially spiritual beings engaged in the wheel of reincarnation, i.e. until we qualify for accession to higher levels.
The other books by Cayce and on the readings of Cayce are also highly recommended. They provide the reader with a comprehensive understanding of human existence, especially if read in conjunction with the books by Gina Cerminara on reincarnation.

Nairba1: Anyone who reads this will see the true history of the world that you will never find on Wikipedia or any academic disinformation textbook. THINK about it. People living in a hot desert could not possibly build those gigantic pyramids without being able to feed a gigantic workforce off the land alone. The Nile Delta, as it has been for the last 6 thousand years can only support a small population. Most of Cairo today gets its food from America. The Giza complex was built by a super human named Hermes from Atlantis who worked with the early priesthood culture in Egypt using anti-gravity technology. Then the Great Flood came and killed everyone and wiped out on surface records of all the high technology of Atlantis and Egypt. And the pole shift and the resulting climate change decimated human life for over 5,000 years as the jungle of north Africa turned into the Sahara. Edgar Cayce saw all this in his visions. And explains human life on Atlantis going back over 50,000 years. AWESOME reading.

Nature Lover: As a student of the Cayce readings for decades, I find the Atlantis readings fascinating, particularly with regard to their historical dating.
In line with Cayce's record of 85% accuracy on other subjects (primarily medical), there is currently one school of Egyptian archeology that dates the pyramids as 10,000 years older than previously believed based on geologic evidence of water & erosion . Cayce indicated that the Egyptians were refugees from the destruction of Atlantis.
One previous reviewer misstated facts regarding Cayce's readings; he listed moderate smoking as helpful for specific individuals, not for everyone. He stated repeatedly that excessive smoking was extremely damaging & dangerous. Current medical studies bear this out (less than 10 cigarettes per day vs. 1 pack or more). The personal bigotry against tobacco has perhaps colored the reviewer's understanding of the words Cayce used in describing the location of Atlantis & it's history.
Although there are other theories that propose Atlantis to be located in the Mediterranean, no geologic or scientific studies have disproven anything in Cayce readings detailed in this book.
