LC: Very pretty, and comfortable folding scalpel handle. No bigger than it needs to be, fits easily in any pocket. The surface texture is pleasant in your hand, and the divots on each end of the sides make for a very secure grip with or without gloves.

There is good retaining cam to keep it from folding accidentally, but it isn't quite as strong as I would like. It would be nice to have a firm mechanical lock if using something like a #26 for stabbing incisions in whatever medium you are working with (in my case, dried pottery clay) so you don't have to worry about any back-play.

And per the headline, I got it in my head that it was a #3 scalpel handle (for blades #6, #9-16, #40, SGT), which is what all of my scalpel blades are compatible with, but it is a #4 scalpel handle (for scalpel blades #18-27 & #36, though it might not fold with anything other than #19-22 according to the listing).

Definitely my fault but I was still a little disappointed when I realized my mistake.

Tyler Harrison: It's a rather small knife, like an inch and a half, maybe two inches, but it's sharp as all get out. It uses a freaking scalpel blade, it shaved the hair of my arm easy. Only thing is that it is a scalpel blade so it's not very tough. I broke the base of the blade by aggressively slicing thru a box and said blade popped out of the holder and was stuck in the cardboard. It's great for doing light work like cutting tape and plastic wrap, paper or maybe a few pieces of cardboard but it'll lose it's sharpness kinda fast in the cardboard.

Super easy to replace the blades so it's super sharp again with no hassle and it comes with 5 blades I think. And they are cheap to buy replacements too.
