WN: There's really no reason why any CX-5 owner should be letting the dealer change their air filter. It's SOOO easy. No tools required. I've used 3rd party filters before and they work based on the trapped particles. I haven't noticed any performance or mileage issues, either. Do yourself a favour and buy these when it's time to replace your engine filter (and cabin air filter for that matter)!

Scott: Looks exactly the same as OEM, on the Mazda 6 open the 2 side clips, pull out filter and replace with new. Job takes about 1 minute to do on the Mazda 6 model.
