Matt C.: I have ordered these batteries numerous times. I have yet to see one fail over the past few years. The mAh figures are accurate and even sometimes low for the actual capacity of the battery. I love it when companies are truthful. I get these for home use and for my relatives when they need rechargeables.

anthony mihovilovich: i have had EBL rechargeable batteries now for 3 yrs plus, and NEVER had a problem with them, people argue that there no good, NOT TRUE, THERE THE BEST! the reason, most people are to much in a hurry needing a batteries right now, , ? exmple, all EBL rechargeable batteries should be recharged with a slow charging system,. when charging use a 2.1 or 2.4 charger slow is the best ! using a 3.0, or 3.1 or higher destorys the batteries,your killing the life out of them. i have a EBL charger unit (8) batteries set up , using a 2.1 charger, and let it go till fully charger, NOTE: NEVER OVER CHARGE THE BATTERIES ! since 3 plus yrs, i have charged AA,AAA, C,D,over 150 times( thats still over 1000 times to go.) and each battery thru EBL has charger to full peak power, others fade away or burn up? in my book EBL batteries are THE BEST!!!

TK421: We use a lot of batteries between powering camping gear, flashlights, LED candles and all sorts of holiday decorations. We started buying rechargeable AA and AAA batteries when they first became mainstream many years ago, because there was so much cost and waste involved in repeatedly throwing away alkaline batteries.

We've tried a few brands over the years, and found EBL to make reliable, long-lasting batteries that stand up to heavy use just as well as the more expensive brands. We've purchased many of their AA and AAA batteries, along with chargers and most recently, a portable power bank. I have yet to see a failed EBL battery, even among the oldest ones we've had for several years.

I highly recommend EBL batteries as affordable and reliable.

Don Gray: I've used EBL batteries for several years and have them to be rechargeable many times before needing replaced. The AAAs charge fairly quickly too. The charge lasts longer than many rechargeable batteries I've tried. Of course good alkalines will outlast these but since these can be recharged over and over again, they are a higher value than getting non-rechargeables to discard after one use. I've also had a very low defect rate with these. But like any rechargeable battery, they will eventually either stop charging correctly or just not work at all. But they will recharge hundreds of times before then. I use both these AAA versions and also the AA EBL batteries and find them my main choice for batteries.

Soundthinker: I use these for thing that aren’t high drain like TV remote controls, and they last very well. They do need to charge cycle a few times before they reach their full capacity. But that’s no big deal.

BoCoGamerz: Love these so far. Some reviewers have noticed that EBL batteries aren't demonstrating LSD performance. LSD (low-self discharge) is very important if you put batteries in a flashlight, laser sight, or survival radio and need to forget about it for 3-5 years and still expect the batteries to have the majority of battery life remaining when you need to use the device.

On my Sartorius 1574 scientific scale with .01g accuracy I get the following battery weights:

EBL AAA 1100 mAh Nimh batteries weigh 13.49g
Amazon Basics 800 mAh Black "made in Japan" AAA 11.48g
Eneloop AAA (placeholder haven't weighed these yet)

We have 7 and 9 year old boys. We have a house full of R/C cars, transmitters, Rokenbok, trains, toys and flashlights, walky-talkies and other devices. Our batteries get recharged after every use (remote control cars) typically because most things we use them in are high drain, and rarely sit in the battery box waiting to be used very long. While we also use rechargeable batteries in our wireless Mac keyboard and mouse, as well as all the remote controls. Honestly, LSD is just not a relevant feature and reviews like the one from NLee the Engineer...
