rockys73: I love this bag, it can be as big or small as possible. it works well for both the a week long trip or just a weekend trip. the best part is, frontier and spirit accept the bag as under the seat bag, so easy to carry extra luggage and other stuff and since it can be compressed with the clips its easy to be seen small.

the only issue i have is, that it does not have a waist belt, which would have been awesome for easy weight distribution.

Lara J. Henry: I ordered this along with 7 other products to compare in real life for a very long world wide trip. It won.

A few ounces heavier than the lightest, but several ounces more in capacity to offset. Zippers and fabric seem durable. Lots of compartments. Compared against some high end models, this surpasses. I'm glad to have found it.

The one con... no TSA lock features, gonna have to line up the zippers and do what I can....

Saba Amiri: I ordered this backpack to replace my old Swissgear one. I usually have two 13" laptops + chargers with me, a small lunchbox(containing a variety of boring salads, if you must know!), and a few gadgets(external HDD, flash devices, etc.), a small foldable umbrella and sometimes a book or notebook. My old backpack was not the lightest in the world, but it was n't heavy either. I ordered this one because I liked how the space was organised and I also had read good reviews about it.
After receiving it, my first impressions were: solid quality, compartments as convenient as expected, straps wide and comfortable, lots of ways to adjust size to your liking. It seemed a bit big and heavy, but I had no idea until I filled it up with my stuff and holy Jupiter gravity, Batman! When I picked up the filled-up backpack, it felt noticeably heavier than my old one. I wore it and things got more uncomfortable. It was definitely heavier than my old one, and heavier than I expected it to be, but the thing that was a dealbreaker for me was the fact that it sat awkwardly on my back. My older backpacks(and the ones I owned before it) all sat comfortable in the hollow of my back, but this one was...

Tony: I have had this bag a year or so now, and must say it's great. There is some serious capacity to this bag, with very smart compartments which you can use for storing all kinds of things for easy access. Particularly like the like the hook in one of the front compartments for attaching your keys. I seen this on the spec when ordering, and didn't think much of it, but I use it all the time, and think its a great little feature. I used this bag when having to stay away overnight for work, for short trips away, and as my cabin luggage when going on longer holidays.

I have never had any issue with using this luggage as cabin baggage when flying from, to and within the UK. The straps are very handy too, so that you can reduce the size of the bag, or squeeze into places if needed.

Very happy with this, and would highly recommend.

Gary Ogle: I basically lived out of this pack on a ten day train trip to California and Nevada. Space was a little tight, but everything fit. I travelled in an Amtrak "roomette" and the pack is just the right size - it fits in the room so I didn't have to check it as baggage or leave it in the communal storage area on the lower level of the car - and it didn't take up room space that I would want for my own use. When I stopped for more than one night, I left the eBags packing cubes in my hotel and used the bag as a daypack - a little large, perhaps, but it worked. A great product!

Laura Horne: Brought to save on baggage fees for a flight to the US, I have test packed with 7 days of clothes and still had loads of room without it being expanded. Backpack straps are comfortable and the chest strap really helps with the comfort. I marched up and down the stairs a few times and it really was comfortable. I tested the shoulder strap which was good but I couldn't walk miles with a full bag on one shoulder. I put a 15inch tablet in to test the laptop compartment and it does dig into your spine a little so be aware of that but without it's fine. I'll have a proper review once fully tested on holiday but it fits so much more than my cabin trolley bag and is much lighter. I would imagine if you really pack alot in it could get very heavy but in that case I'll just rent a trolley in the airport if it's too much to carry all day.
Update- used this for work so I just had 1 bag for an overnight stay and the laptop did not dig into my back at all. This was a fullsize laptop in the compartment with the sling properly adjusted to hold it.
