Melissa: I got this to help with my weight loss journey. I don't always weigh my food but I always weigh the calorie dense stuff. You wouldn't believe the difference a few extra grams of peanut butter makes.

It's so easy to tar it to zero. I can easily tar it before adding a new item to my plate.

The weighing surface is flare so I can easily put a plate on it and still see the weight display.

I have now lost almost 20lbs since I started using this bad boy.

Papasmurf2525: Great scale. Easy to use, easy to tare. Only wish that the display was on more of an angle making it easier to read when you have a larger bowl on the scale.

Andy: I have had this scale about 2 years and it has proved to be very versatile given the many different units of measure it has as well as excellent battery life. As an example I last used to add refrigerant to my auto AC and it worked great. It is a very hand scale to have around both shop and home. I highly recommend.

A. Winters: The media could not be loaded.  I had an OXO scale that I loved before purchasing this one, but it did not have the precision I needed for soap making and it maxed out at 5 pounds. This works well enough for soap making and baking. The rubber feet come off though, making the scale tip and the measurements inaccurate. Eventually the missing foot will turn up or I found some replacements. Do yourself a favor and put them on with E6000 glue from the start. The auto off time of 2 minutes is reasonable for my needs. Sometimes I run out of flour mid recipe and can still manage to get down to my storeroom and back with more before the scale times out. I sometimes exceed the 11# weight limit when I’m doing a multiple loaf bread recipe. A bit annoying, but not a deal breaker for the ~$13 I paid. I wouldn’t pay the current price for this unit though (over $20).
After 6 years of frequent use, it wasn’t weighing accurately anymore. But my husband found that the top plate of the scale had gotten off center and was catching on the edge of the lower part of the scale. A little nudge put it back in line. It’s weighing accurately again. Yeah! So keep that in mind if your like me...

Tina: I am loving this scale so far. I’ve had it about 6 weeks now and use it daily. I keep a food journal so this makes it easy to measure my foods and know exactly what amount I’m eating.

Omnireader: I have 2 cats and they both seem to have a highly developed sense of weight/volume. Particularly when it comes to their food portions. Before I bought this product, they would jockey around examining portion size/volume and go for the perceived larger portion with sometimes unfortunate results that required the squirt gun to calm them. The Scale changed all this. The first time they milled around with uncertainty and finally settled on the closest portion. Now they mostly accept that both portions are as close as is possible and they are better served just going for the closest, saving them time, hurt feelings and random showers. The Tare feature quickly solves the issue of different bowls and makes breakfasts much more pleasant for all concerned. The scale is also useful for portioning my feed as well. Convenient size and easy cleanup are also very good features.
