LORNE: Please note: The following review is for the beige color umbrella, ASIN # 17288. Same manufacturer, but made with a heavier polyester material (210T) than the blue one shown above (185T Polyester) and it also costs about $30 more. I don't know why Amazon placed my review with this less expensive umbrella.
There were very only three reviews on this umbrella so I just compared the specs of the Naturehike to the many other competitors out there. The Naturehike, ASIN # 17288 seemed to have many features and priced reasonable so I ordered it. Turns out that this was a good choice. I'm very pleased with the quality and easy setup. It's nice and roomy and has good ventilation through the 3 window openings. The windows have well placed hooks for closing the window coverings if necessary. The large extended floor is also useful for placings items or lying outside the umbrella. Nice earthtone color.

Reid: We've had a couple other pop up tents but they all sucked in the wind. This doesn't blow over in the wind; 30 second set up, 30 second take down. Easy. It also fits back inside the bag easily which is great.

Mariano: If you're on the hunt for a beach tent that combines portability, ease of assembly, and strong wind resistance without having to break the bank, look no further.

First and foremost, it's extremely light to carry. I walked 2km with this baby on my back and I barely felt it. I even rode the bus on the way back, and at no point did it feel like it was in the way.

Assembling the tent was a cinch, and I must say, "surprisingly easy" is an understatement. You just need to pull a couple of ropes and then secure it to the ground, it practically sets itself up.

Something I'm surprised about, however, it's is wind resistance. I was initially skeptical, having experienced flimsy tents being swept away by gusts of wind. But this one held its ground like a champ, even on a REALLY windy day (honestly I should have stayed home because it was kinda cold)

The interior space is surprisingly spacious as well, and I really like the tiny windows, which can be closed if you want to take a nap but don't want to wake up looking like a tomato.

In conclusion, this tent is awesome, and you should buy it.

Eric: Overall I liked this product. It has almost all the features you'd want from a beach tent. Vented windows, which are very important as it gets hot in a tent during the summer. The extra floor space can fold up and zipped if you need to change. I'm a complete novice with tents and have never pitched a tent before, and this one was very easy to fold out and close. Overall it's a good product and build quality seems good.

My only issue and this isn't really a fault of the tent, is that sun can still get in very easily. If the sun is anywhere close to the front, it will still shine in at your body while your face is still covered. So you don't block out the sun completely when you're inside. Also it can still get a bit stuffy inside the tent during summer even with the screen windows all opened. Another viable option is to just use a beach umbrella. You'll get less privacy with a beach umbrella, but it's easier to adjust it to give you more shade.
If a beach tent is what you want though, this one is recommended. And it's easy to set up and close.

Mony Mandel: After getting our beach umbrella destroyed by winds on our last beach day, we decided to take the plunge and look into a sun shelter. With so many options and such varied reviews, we finally settled on this Easthills Outdoors Sun Shelter and we couldn't be more pleased.

First of all, it comes in a compact pouch that is very lightweight and easy to carry on your shoulder with the built-in strap. When you remove it from its pouch, there is another small pouch containing some plastic stakes and nylon rope to help secure the tent to the ground/sand. It takes only seconds to unfold the arms and set up the tent. To secure it more sturdily and withstand the wind, in addition to using the stakes, there are built-in sand bags that you can fill up easily, made with a very strong nylon tarp-like material. One in place, the tent will barely budge during moderate winds.

There are also several windows and built-in shades for more privacy, in addition to several large mesh pockets to help hold various items. Storage is plentiful. As far as spaciousness is concerned, my wife and I can easily fit inside (with our shins and feet sticking out of the front), even with a Tommy Bahama...

OK so we made it to Biarritz, historic Bayonne and to the gorgeous beaches of the French Basque Country in South West France on the Atlantic coast. We amazed everyone with our Easthills Outdoors Easy Up XL. Everyone was staring at us, looking like the King and Queen of the beach in our palatial tent!

I bought some 30cm (12in) U Spikes for £5.99 for 10 and these have anchored the tent against the Atlantic wind with no problem at all and no need for the guy lines. Yesterday, the wind was very strong and the tent had no problem in terms of strength against the wind and the spikes kept it firmly anchored. Unfortunately, what had been a simple dismantling in the previous days, turned into a little bit of a nightmare due to the strength of the winds which must have been around Force 6 on the Beaufort scale, judging by the size of the waves. Other people, didn't even have any shelters out, which mainly consist of either straight beach umbrellas or the umbrellas with the extended sides. These had long been packed away. lovetakingpictureslovetakingpictures: We just got this a couple of days ago and we immediately set it up in our spare bedroom to check it out and to familiarize ourselves with putting it up and taking it down. It took a couple of tries to get it up, but no big deal once we did it a couple of times. I spent all one evening looking at different sun tents and reading the reviews on them. This one seemed to have very good reviews and it also had many features that I wanted, the main one was the size. I needed it to be large enough for room for two chairs for adults and extra room for a child, cooler, beach bag, etc. Also, of importance to me was the price. I didn't want to spend more than $50-$60 if possible and this one fit the bill as I purchased it on Amazon prime day for $55.

After setting it up we noticed some things that we really liked, such as, extra large windows for ventilation, four nice sized mesh pockets (two on each side) for sunscreen, snacks, keys, sunglasses, etc, the front flap acts as a porch for extra people to sit on or to just help keep sand out of the tent.
