Marlena: Anyone complaining that they arent for body piercings clearly doesnt know how to use them! After putting the needle in, pull the metal part out and snip off the end of the plastic shield. Thread your jewelry into the plastic and pull through your piercing. Really not that complicated if you've done any research at all. Pierced my nipples and cartilage with no issues whatsoever. Great quality!

Kat: Let me start off by saying, do NOT Pierce yourself at home, especially if you are not a professional. Even if you have experience being pierced and looked up how to do it, it is not a good idea. Just pay the higher price to get it done by someone who knows what they're doing. No matter how much you try, you will not be able to set up a completely sterile environment, which can lead to infections. Also, because your not trained and don't know the proper technique, you can end up with wonky placement/angles of entry resulting in improper exit holes, and scarring/keloids. I was stupid, and thought that because I had a Medusa piercing( a piercing in the middle of your Cupid's bow), done by a professional, that was not fully closed, I would be able to use these to reopen it. Spoiler alert, I created an entirely different exit hole, which made it impossible to put the jewelry in, I bled A LOT, I wasn't able to put the jewelry in the plastic tube once I placed it, because I couldn't figure out the angle to put the jewelry in. The I tried it on a cartilage piercing that I had that didn't fully close. I thought that would be fine, because it wouldn't be on my face, so it would be more...
