Samantha: The amount of dust this vacuum picks up is unbelievable. Yes it’s a big and heavy to operate and it’s suction is strong making it a bit of a work out, but it’s definitely doing its job! Worth the money

Justin: Finally a great vacuum!
It sucks alot which is great when you have carbet and 4 cats, my livingroom never looked so clean! Sadly we just moved to a place with no carbet >< d'oh BUUUUUT works on hardwood too!

Seen a review with someone struggling to push the vacuum (they posted a video) I had no issues pushing the vacuum unless the canister was full.

Stephanie Marie: This vacuum is awesome!! I vacuumed with my old vacuum and then followed up with this one and the canister was nearly full when I was done!! Makes me wonder what kinda crap I’ve been kicking up walking over my carpets and subsequently breathing in.
My one and only complaint (and I think another buyer said this too) is the suction is really, really powerful. Like..REALLY POWERFUL. It takes some muscling to maneuver over my rugs but knowing it’s sucking up ALLLL the dust/dander (I have a cat)/debris makes it worth it

AimsAims: After reading so many websites and customer reviews, I decided to order BOTH the Shark TruePet rotator and the Dyson Animal ball 2. I can tell you right now, in TLDR fashion that this thing is much better than anything Shark can provide. However, after being so discouraged by all the so called "influester reviewers" and random little 4 star no comment reviews, I needed to try them both for myself to see what truly is better. I've done many days of vacuuming with dyson first, and then following with the Shark and then vice versa. I can tell you without question, this test is stupid. Under each trial, the second vacuum still picked up more debris than the first one. I even did one day where i did Dyson/Shark/Dyson and the 2nd time I used the dyson, after the Shark, the vacuum still produced dirt in the bin. So just in case you watch those dumb unscientific YouTube videos, rest assured that the test is pointless.

Paul CasselPaul Cassel: This is a difficult rating for me. I am frankly astounded by the cleaning power of this vacuum cleaner. I’ve never seen anything come even close to it. It makes my previous cleaner look like it has asthma and a leaky hose to boot. Here’s my rating broken down by category.

Performance

As I said in the introduction, this vacuum cleaner puts all others I’ve used or even heard of to shame. It’s in a class by itself. To test, I ran my previous vacuum cleaner over a 9’ x 12‘ rug. Then I ran the Dyson over the same rug with the results shown in the photo below. If you don’t believe me, or think I must have doctored the photo or threw the test, I don’t blame you. I did the test and didn’t believe it myself. I can’t even see how the run could carry that much dirt / dust if at capacity but this rug had been regularly cleaned using a brand name vacuum cleaner with another run just before the Dyson.

In addition, the cleaning of this rug didn’t cause the dusty gritty smell running conventional vacuum cleaners. I have a very sharp sense of smell. The Dyson operates with no smell at all. It causes no sneezing after use like other vacuums. Its claims for...
