MaBelle: 6th baby. I’ve used a few bamboo brands in my day. Really happy with these, aside from the super high price tag.
Baby was 7 lbs 3 oz and the newborn size wasn’t too large like some other bamboo brands. You do have to fold down for umbilical stump. That said, baby is approaching 8 lbs and they’re barely working now. Squeezing her into the rest of them before we bump up to Size 1. Still, we’ve barely had any blowout issues (always to be expected with newborns), so the fit overall is top notch.

Elizabeth Oliver: I will use this product because it will biodegradable overtime unlike conventional disposable diapers. That said, they're not great diapers, they can't stack up to huggies.
*if the diaper is a bit too small and there's a big BM or poddy it will likely be a blow out or a leak.
*if the diaper is sized accordingly and a large BM occurs while the baby is sitting, being worn, or anything that puts pressure on the bottom you have approximately 5 to 10 minutes before the poo squishes its way up the baby's back. (Easy solution would be for the manufacturer to add a poop catch flap on the back).
*this product will leave lint/fibers behind on baby's bottom
I do early poddy training so my 6 month old only uses these "part-time" as a back up. If anyone is trying to use these full-time these are the issues I would want to know about. Huggies does make a more plant based diaper now, but it's just not as biodegradable as these. So that's your trade off.
