Dave In Trinity: Very nice hinges. Several screws were manufactured very badly. One I could not get a screwdriver on at all and another screw was completely mangled right out of the box. I had to run to HmDepot for extra screws. Otherwise, good installation and the hinges look fine. I was just a little upset at the screw situation. A couple extras in the box would have done wonders.

Merciless: I put these everywhere when remodeling. They look good, function well, and are affordable. Be careful of the curve. There are two standards for the curved edges that specify the diameter of the circle. The 1/4 inch radius provides barely curved edges, as though you drew a 1/4 inch circle in the corner. The larger round edges are designed with a bigger circle - 5/8 inch. Also, outside doors usually use 4 hole hinges. Open your old hinge (open the door) and measure the hinge left to right and top to bottom. The look at the corners. Small corners are 1/4", large are 5/8", and make sure you get the right number of holes. Make sure the bolt is at the top when you install the new hinges, and I find it best to close the hinges flat before installing to make sure you don't have the backwards. Open the door, take off one hinge at a time, and unfold the new ones into the old spot, insert the new screws gently so everything goes into place where the hold one was (sometimes but not usually you made need a tap or two if the wood/paint was really tight), and then tighten. I find a power screw-driver (battery operated drill with a phillips bit) set to a low torq (i.e. 1-3 on the chuck) usually...
