sleepy: Ergonomically beneficial yes, but very uncomfortable, heavy and clunky to walk with. Like the foot, but seems a little large for the petite or junior size; and the rocking mechanism in the foot is not smooth when walking. Takes some getting use to, especially if you only use one crutch.
Since there is a left and a right, it would be nice if the option was available to purchase a single crutch and different colors that scream less.

Amazon Customer: Lifechanging! Brilliant idea to help people with balance issues. The foot-like bottoms provide stability and the strap along your back helps with balance and moving the crutches evenly. Very useful for anyone with vestibular issues.

R. Lafleur: Very cool pair of crutches. Bought for an upcoming knee surgery. This set has lots of stability features and that is what influenced my purchase. I was not happy that I had to pay $18 in shipping because I needed the taller crutches though.
Hand holds, under arm supports, wider feet and back strap are awesome.

RJM: This review is for the blue crutches. I am about 5'4.5". I have left the crutches on the shortest setting for the bottom and the top part I have left alone. These crutches are different from the normal ones. They have good and positive things going for it. The positive is that it does swivel in a natural motion and can be easy to use if you have the upper strength. I have not had the bottom of the foot get stuck on something, unlike the rubber soles on the traditional crutches. As for the grips and underarm area, they are rubberized. At first, I liked the grip of the handles, but after using it for about a week my palms started to hurt. The handle is a good grip, but not enough padding to ease the weight. The underarm part has been digging into my side chest/breast area and it hurts since it's too tough. I have both the traditional crutches and these. I would prefer this, but with major enhancements. There are people who have mentioned that the crutches squeak. Mine started doing that after 3 days so I carefully sprayed WD-40 at the bottom where it glides front and back. But be careful you do not excessively spray or it may drip to the bottom. The squeaking resolved, but the next...

Julie: I'm having surgery in two weeks and have been in an aircast. I've been trying different things to see what works best for after the surgery and these are the best. I don't like the strap around the back because it is awkward putting them in place and out of place when your sitting.
Update: in cast now for 8 weeks. These crutches are still more comfortable than others however you have to be careful with them not sliding forward under your arm, I fell once. I put the strap back on them and now when you go from sitting to standing, it takes incredible balance to get them back in place due to the strap, imagine placing one and trying to toss the other one behind your back to the other under arm, all on one leg!!!
Update: I'm moving my rating to a zero. You really need to show a video of this because all of the videos are literally of one crutch or they are already in place with the strap and under each arm. You cannot lean them up against something, also use them as leverage to get up then somehow get your back to a wall. I am annoyed that you guys can't just say, yeah this is a problem and we're working on solutions instead of making me feel like this is just my problem.

christina: These crutches have been a lifesaver! I had knee surgery 2yrs ago and had the regular old crutches that they give everyone after surgery. Within a week my hands were sore and I had lost my balance more than once because the crutches had slipped forward. These crutches are a game changer!! I ordered them for my second knee surgery and 2wks in I still love them. The hand grips are more comfortable and the larger pivoting foot provides way more stability! The strap across the back does take some time to get use to because you can’t just grab the crutches, you have to maneuver them around your back but it definitely helps the crutches to not slip forward. I have gotten so many questions about these crutches and even my doctor asked to try them out at my appointment!! Absolutely love them, if you are on the fence about purchasing them GO FOR IT!!!
