After ruining a couple of items after getting bleach on them , I thought I’d try this die kit as a last chance attempt before I would inevitably end up wearing them as work clothes .. but after trying this die kit out for the first time I have now rejuvenated the two items and you wouldn’t even know !!
I prefer them now colour wise to what the original items were !! Great bit of kit to salvage ruined /stained clothes ( please note it won’t die every material ) so just check before purchasing ..

MarkMark: I’m no expert at dying clothes. Everything I own gets washed at 40 degrees, or if it looks complicated I pay someone else to do it. Typical man.

I bought some Levi’s off Vinted which turned out to be much lighter than I prefer. I don’t want to look like George Michael in Wham! So have no need for stonewashed jeans. That said they were dirt cheap, barely worn if at all and fitted really well. I bought a tub of this thinking if it went astray I’d not have wasted a lot of money even if I had to bin the jeans.

Followed the very simple instructions and I now have a pair of Levi’s in the shade I want for minimal outlay. The colour looks good, it even left the stitching its original colour, similarly the orange tab, and the Levi’s label isn’t fully dyed.

Highly recommended.

Justina: I've used these pods a lot now and one thing that they fail to highlight that is exceptionally important is only dieing a few items at a time. I've used this with one pod for one duvet cover, a few towels or a pair of jeans and a t-shirt at a time. I had been very happy with results so tried a bigger batch (duvet cover, 2 pillowcases, a hoodie and a towel) with 2 pods in olive green in and ended up ruining all of it with everything coming out in yellow and blue patches.

Small batches of a few items at a time IS KEY to ensure you don't ruin it. It doesn't scale even if using more pods. I wish they made this clear.

Amazon Customer: Bara att stoppa in kapseln i tvättmaskinen. Blir snygg o täckande färg. Färgade 3 par capribyxor o 2 t-shirtar samtidigt o blev supernöjd med resultatet.
Tvättade det jag färgat direkt efter färgningen i 40 grader o torkade sedan av gummidetaljerna vid luckan o körde en snabbtvätt utan någon tvätt i maskinen o sedan var maskinen fri från något som skulle kunna missfärga annan tvätt.
Det ända som inte var så kul var att jag fick vänta på färgen skulle komma i 3 veckor, så man får räkna med lång leveranstid. Men eftersom färgningen blev så bra, så var det ändå i slutändan värt väntan.

Elizabeth Meyer: I followed the directions and read them a few times. My white UGG cotton blanket is green but there are also LARGE splotches of blue where the dye didn’t disperse. I believe the directions could be improved upon by the company.

Gen. Noriega: A little pricey but well worth the extra cost for the ease of use. I ordered it because I wanted to fix an oopsy and get some bleach stains out of a pair of my husband’s shorts and sounded like it would be the easiest product to use. It dyed the rust colored spots a light gray. So the spots weren’t so obvious once the shorts were dyed but they didn’t dye the same color as the rest of his shorts.

ALSO, in case you are incredibly confused as well, they have included a picture above (that is unfortunately not on the product itself) that shows that “pod” is term they use for the whole container you receive. I stupidly opened it thinking that there would be a laundry soap type pod in the container and was extremely confused when it was just powered dye. Thankfully my husband was home and able to figure out what “pod” actually meant.

Nicole TierneyNicole Tierney: This product ruined my washer and dyed it pink and the articles of clothing I intended to dye. They came out splotchy with dark color splotches. I understand that sometimes there is defective products but you would think the company would take responsibility. But no, they blamed me for using the product wrong and since I got the product they did nothing wrong. They refused to help me and said if I wanted a refund then I can return the product but how am I gonna return the product when the product ruined my clothing, $100 worth of clothing ruined and it’s “my fault”. This has been the most frustrating process and it’s not okay.

ArchDruid: This product is amazing. I had some green material I ordered for use with my Renfaire outfit but it was considerably lighter than I wanted. It even had a yellowish tint. I hunted on Amazon until I found this product. The only reviews I could find were on the UK Amazon and while a lot were positive, a few complained about it leaving residue/stains in their wash machines. Well I'm here to tell you that it left no residue in my top loaded washer (just follow the directions) and my material came out with a deep olive green that I was very excited about. There were no uneven dye marks or anything. Perfect product! Way easier than hand dyeing (from what I've seen) and looks great! If you need something dyed try these dye pods. I don't think you'll be disappointed at all.
