mtp: My only comment is that the instructions say open the pod and then put the entire pod in the washing machine. I did this the first time I used one of these but the second time I just poured the powder in and this seemed to work much better. There is a tendancy for the powder to get wet and turn into lumps that take a while to break apart but if it starts out of the pod then this is less likely to happen.

NewtNewt: I was looking for terracotta but it is not sold, so i mixed Rosewood Red and Fresh Orange and after dye the fabric from Peach it turned out close to the terracotta that I wanted. There was no marks or staining like in some other reviews where they show dark specks. The images are not perfect but the terracotta is a good colour representation of the finished dying. So colours can be mixed if you choose the correct ones. Very pleased with the outcome.

Sz. O. Tamara: Very easy to use but very expensive.
I had to use 5 bottles to paint a sofa cover, I used a bit more than necessary cause in kg the cover was less then 5 bottles could dye but the color came out a bit different then expected more pinkish red than sandalwood. Still nice color though and very uniform. Followed the instructions to the point used up a lot of water and energy... if there was a cover for the sofa in this color feom the retailer I would have bought that, would have been cheeper. All in all satisfied with it.

J. MarieJ. Marie: I’ve used DYLON machine dye pods plenty, but this particular batch and color came out horrendously! The dye came out in huge splotches on these cotton fabrics, and even left staining on our washing machine for the first time. In the past, I’ve used the brown and green pods successfully after buying them in store, which makes me wonder if this is the real product or just an extremely defective color pod. Would not recommend using this.
